To end, Rivian did release additional press statements.  The other press statements, are in reference to the features of the R1T.  Mark Vinnels is the Executive Director of Engineering and Programs at Rivian.  Through a press statement, Mr. Vinnels said the following.  The beauty and elegance of our quad-motor setup isn’t just about brute power; this architecture provides instantaneous torque with extremely precise control at each wheel, which is completely game-changing from a dynamics perspective, both on—and off—road.”  Jeff Hammoud is the Vice President of Vehicle Design at Rivian.  Through a press statement, Mr. Hammoud said the following.  Although the exterior of the vehicle is what first attracts you, the interior is where you spend the most of your time, so we really focused on creating a transformational space.  The biggest challenge was creating an interior design that delivered a premium experience, while still being comfortable as a space that is heavily used.  To do this, we looked outside the automotive industry and took inspiration from contemporary furniture, as well as hiking and outdoor gear, to drive the design.”  As previously stated, the electric vehicle manufacturer Rivian, has officially revealed the first of two electric adventure vehicles.  The R1T is the unmasked completely electric pickup truck.  The second of the two of Rivian’s electric adventure vehicles is, the R1S.  The R1S is a completely electric S.U.V.  The R1T starts at $61,500 USD.  Lastly, deliveries are expected to begin, late in the year 2020.
