Ceva, Inc. Announces and Celebrates a Milestone


(Mountain View, CA) The leading innovator, or brains, of the most power efficient intelligent devices arrives, at a historical milestone.  Ceva, Inc. is the aforementioned innovator; additionally, it is also a leading manufacturer of internet connected technology, for end market products.  Recently, Ceva, Inc. announced that 10 billion devices, are now powered by Ceva’s proprietary technology.  Additionally, this computer technology business revealed that, it will continue to stay in front of the pack.  The previously said is due to the fact that, it has opened an R&D center in Bristol, United Kingdom/Britain.

          This R&D center, or, research and development facility; is intended to provide Ceva with accessibility.  Specifically, Ceva, Inc. (NASDAQ:  CEVA) wants access to the first-class and world-class engineering that, Bristol United Kingdom/Britain has to offer.  The hope is that, it will be able to further strengthen, its R&D capabilities.  Additionally; the potential to expedite the development, of new digital signal processing, and, A.I. products is also hoped for.  This R&D center is located in, the Aztec West Business Park, coincidentally.  The latter; is an area that is the home to many semiconductor, and, technology businesses.  It is said that these UK/Britain based semiconductor and technology businesses; are currently focusing on artificial intelligence, communications, robotics and autonomous driving.  Initially, Ceva, Inc. has employed design and verification engineers, at this location.  Gideon Wertheizer is the C.E.O. of Ceva, Inc.  Through a press statement, Mr. Wertheizer said the following.  “We are very pleased to announce this expansion of our R&D efforts with the opening of this new design center.  Bristol has one of the strongest talent bases in the U.K. for digital signal processing, with many highly-skilled and experienced engineers.  This new team will allow us to better address the growing demand for our portfolio of leading-edge signal processing IPs and reinforces our position as the world’s leading licensor of IP for intelligent, connected devices.”

          For the 10 billion devices milestone that, Ceva, Inc. has accomplished.  Ceva’s leadership team, commemorated the previously said, by ringing the opening bell at the NASDAQ Stock Exchange.  This occurred on January 14th, 2019.  After ringing the opening bell, Ceva, Inc. held its first investor and analyst day.  Additionally, the investor and analyst day, was held at the NASDAQ Market Site in New York City, U.S.A.  Fascinatingly, Ceva, Inc. began the journey that, would eventually arrive at the 10 billion devices milestone; since its “early days.”  The early days according to Ceva, Inc. can best be characterized by DSP processing in 2G handsets, DVD players, hard disk drives and audio players.  Today, Ceva, Inc. is preoccupied with the “new days.”  The new days can best be characterized by 5G R.A.N., backhaul, user equipment, computer vision, A.I. drones, smart telephones, surveillance cameras, automotive image sensors, action cameras, mirror-less cameras, audio assistants, wireless speakers, automotive electronics, consumer electronics, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, NB-IoT, Cat-M connectivity, wearable devices and thousands of other types of devices.  Finally, some of the manufacturers or brands that have helped to contribute to the 10 billion devices milestone, include the following.  Alibaba, Amazon, Apple, Canon, China Mobile, Dell, DJI, Fujifilm, Google, Go Pro, Hikvision, HP, Huawei, JD.com, LG, Logitech, Meizu, Microsoft, Nest, Nikon, Nokia, Panasonic, Reliance Jio, Samsung, Siemens, Sony, Tom Tom, Toshiba, Xiaomi, Vivo and ZTE are examples of the previously noted.
