Choice Hotels International, Inc. Announces an Expansion

(Rockville, MD) The franchising side of Choice Hotels International, Inc. has always possessed, a tremendous amount of attraction. In fact, this type of attraction is able to pull-in hotel developers. The interested hotel developer doesn’t purchase, just one franchise hotel. To be exact, the interested hotel developer purchases several franchise hotels, from the beginning. Recently, Choice Hotels International, Inc. announced an expansion. This expansion is a multi-unit purchase agreement of 15, new construction franchise hotels. Interestingly, Jay Virk was revealed to be, the hotel developer behind the expansion.

For Jay Virk’s expansion, Choice Hotels International, Inc. (NYSE: CHH) is traveling to the Western Region of the U.S.A. However, only the State of California, and, the State of Arizona were revealed to be the future homes of Virk’s franchise hotels. To be specific about the previously said; there will be 5 Sleep Inn hotels, and, 5 dually branded Sleep Inn and Mainstay Suites hotels that will soon be under construction. The locations, along with more information, were not disclosed for the remaining 5 franchise hotels. Additionally, the expansion agreement with Mr. Jay Virk, is expected to be completed in the year 2026. Brian Quinn is the Vice President of Head of Development and New Construction Brands at Choice Hotels International, Inc. Through a press statement, Mr. Quinn said the following. “Our decades of midscale expertise and proven brands continue to attract developers coast to coast. The Sleep Inn brand’s refreshed prototype appeals to owners by having the lowest cost-to-build in the segment. In addition, the Sleep Inn and Mainstay Suites dual-brand offers operational efficiencies and a diverse model that serves business, leisure and extended-stay guests—we’re proud that this concept now has over 100 hotels open or in the pipeline.”

The 15 new construction franchise hotels, in current development, are officially categorized as midscale hotels. As previously said; the Choice Hotels franchise brands are Sleep Inn, and, Mainstay Suites. The Sleep Inn brand is set apart, by simplicity. To be exact, a simple stylish hotel stay that, is intended to help the hotel guest dream better. For the previously said; a Sleep Inn franchise hotel is based on fresh, and, nature inspired design elements. Additionally and when combined, these design elements are modern and timeless. The effort is to create a serene relaxed environment. Furthermore, the new idea for this brand line, is a new construction franchise hotel. The standard amenities of this Choice Hotels brand include free Wi-Fi, free breakfast buffet, a swimming pool and a fitness center. The Mainstay Suites brand is set apart, by the option to be an extended stay lodging property. To be exact, an extended hotel stay that, is supposed to be a home. For the previously said, the Mainstay Suites franchise hotel is home, for a week or several months. Additionally, this idea gives the hotel guest the convenience of different, but yet affordable prices. The new idea for this brand line, is a dually branded hotel property building. In other words, this brand line is a dually branded Sleep Inn with a Mainstay Suites. The standard amenities of this Choice Hotels brand include residential style suites, free internet access, free continental breakfast, a fitness center, weekly housekeeping and guest laundry services.

To end, hotel developer Jay Virk did release a press statement. Additionally, he is based out of Clovis, California U.S.A.
