Flex Logix Technologies, Inc. Licenses Technology to China’s Morningcore Technology

(Mountain View, CA) The artificial intelligence concept, for the computer technology industry is still a challenge.  The challenge continues being, needing to have an inference engine, in order, to have a field of artificial intelligence.  The inference engine applies logical rules to the information that, is obtained from a knowledge base.  From this process, new information is obtained.  Recently, Flex Logix Technologies, Inc. announced that, it has licensed technology to Morningcore Technology.  Interestingly, Flex Logix is the provider of technology solutions that, enable an embedded field programmable gate array on microchips.  Additionally, its proprietary technology is able to create, a neural network for an inference engine.  Morningcore Technology is from the Country of China, and, it is a subsidiary of Datang.  The previous, is China’s telecommunications giant.

As China’s telecommunications giant, Datang and through Morningcore Technology, the license is for the EFLX-4K eFPGA.  Additionally, it is intended to be used with TSMC’s 12nm FinFET compact technology.  The end result, should be a 12FFC process combined with Flex Logix’s technology that, creates an embedded field programmable gate array (eF.P.G.A.) on microchips.  For this type of use, microchips that have applications that, involve wireless communications.  Included in the purchase of the license, is the ability to have Morningcore Technology’s customers, program their own eF.P.G.A.  Limitations, of the use were not reported.  T.S.M.C. is the official acronym for, Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company Limited.  Specifically, it is the world’s largest semiconductor foundry.  The latter, is extremely important to the I.C.T. industry.  I.C.T. is a reference to technology that provides access to information, through, telecommunications technology.  Additionally; the focus of the telecommunications technology includes the internet, wireless networks, cell phones and other types of communications mediums.  The embedded field programmable gate array (eF.P.G.A.), is an intellectual property (I.P.) core.  The latter, is integrated into an A.S.I.C. or SoC.  An A.S.I.C. is the acronym for, application specific integrated circuit.  Specifically, it is a microchip that, is designed for a special application.  The previous includes a handheld computer, or, a transmission protocol.  SoC is the acronym for, system on a chip.  The latter, combines the various electronics circuits of various computer components, onto, a single integrated chip.  SoC is also hardware and software, therefore, it uses less power.  The less use of power, betters the overall performance.  The enhanced performance combined with the eF.P.G.A., helps define the quantity of look up tables (L.U.T.).  L.U.T.s; are used for data registers, embedded memory and DSP blocks.  A DSP is an integrated circuit, as a microprocessor, which is designed for high speeds.

To end; Flex Logix Technologies, Inc. was founded in the year 2014, and, it is headquartered out of Mountain View, California U.S.A.  Additionally; it has sales representative offices in the countries of China, Europe, Israel, Japan, Taiwan and various other locations in the U.S.A.  Flex Logix also releases the NMAX product line.  NMAX is a modular scalable neural network, capable of an inference engine.  In reference to, the announcement of the licensing of technology, Flex Logix did release a press statement.  Geoff Tate is the Chief Executive Officer of Flex Logix Technologies, Inc.  Through a press statement, Mr. Tate said the following.  “We are proud to work with MorningCore, who extensively evaluated Flex Logix’s technology.  eFPGA can deliver significant improvements in performance, power and reconfigurability.  We see China as being one of the largest markets for both our eFPGA and NMAX neural inferencing technologies.”  As previously stated, Flex Logix Technologies, Inc. recently announced that, it has licensed technology to China’s Morningcore Technology.  The previously mentioned business, is also, a subsidiary of Datang.  Datang, is China’s telecommunications giant.  The technology license, is for the EFLX-4K eFPGA.  Additionally, it is intended to be used with TSMC’s 12nm FinFET compact technology.  Lastly and the end result, should be a 12FFC process combined with Flex Logix’s technology that, creates an embedded field programmable gate array (eF.P.G.A.) on microchips.
