The First and Only Zipline Opens in Las Vegas Nevada


(Las Vegas, NV) The LINQ Promenade has grown tremendously in popularity.  In fact, it could be argued that it is essential Las Vegas, Nevada U.S.A.  Interestingly, The LINQ Promenade is part of The LINQ Hotel & Casino.  Recently, the aforementioned Las Vegas destination unveiled, Fly LINQ.  Fly LINQ is the first and only zipline on the Las Vegas strip, and, it has a cost of $20 million USD.  The official announcement was made by the Caesars Entertainment Corporation, and, it is certain that the popularity of The LINQ Promenade will grow even further.

          The Caesars Entertainment Corporation (NASDAQ:  CZR) is the owner of The LINQ Hotel & Casino.  Additionally, it is also considered to be the fourth largest gaming corporation in the U.S.A.  In fact and in the year 2013, the Caesars Entertainment Corporation, reported $8.6 billion USD in profits.  Returning to, Fly LINQ a Las Vegas attraction, the aforementioned did celebrate a grand opening event.  In fact, the grand opening was celebrated with ten “Superheroes” flying through the air; the inaugural zipline ride.  Additionally, confetti canons that were positioned along the zipline route, opened fire, as the superheroes flew by.  Fly LINQ covers the area, of The LINQ Promenade.  Shaun Swanger is the Senior Vice President of Attractions, Retail and Leasing at the Caesars Entertainment Corporation.  Through a press statement, Mr. Swanger said the following.  FLY LINQ is an exciting addition to The LINQ Promenade’s attraction portfolio, adding a new dynamism to the environment, regardless whether you’re riding or waving at the fliers from below.”  Shaun Swanger also said.  “We’re thrilled to begin 2019 and invite the world to come and experience this exhilarating attraction.”

          The LINQ Promenade is a first-class, open air district.  Additionally, it features more than 30 unique experiences.  These unique experiences can be categorized as entertainment, retail and dining.  Throughout the year and at any given time; The LINQ Promenade is the host to special events, festivals and parades.  Fly LINQ will join High Roller, as The LINQ Promenade’s second iconic attraction.  High Roller is currently, the world’s tallest observation wheel.  Additionally, 28 glass enclosed cabins make High Roller a very unique, thirty minute tourist experience.  As previously said, Fly LINQ is the first and only zipline in Las Vegas, Nevada U.S.A.  It is reported to have a cost of, $20 million dollars.  Additionally, the project was led by the same team that, developed the High Roller observation wheel.  The zipline itself, is ten side by side ziplines.  These ten side by side ziplines, obviously, can launch ten riders.  The height of the launch tower is 14 stories, or, 114 feet.  The height of the landing tower is approximately 5 stories, or, 54 feet.  The overall length of the zipline, is 1,121 feet.  Incidentally, a rider can travel this distance in approximately, 35 to 45 seconds.  The average speed is estimated at, 35 miles per hour.  For this high flying and super fast ride; the rider can remain in a seated position, or, fly through the air “superhero” style.  Fly LINQ opens everyday, at 11:30 am.  Finally, Fly LINQ was developed in conjunction with, Xventure LV, LLC.  Xventure LV is commonly known for, developing specialty high capacity adventure rides in urban locations.

          To end, 30% of the Caesars Entertainment Corporation is owned by, Apollo Global Management.  Another 30% is owned by, TPG Capital.  10% is owned by Paulson & Co., whilst, the remaining ownership percentages is information that is not disclosed to the public.  The current C.E.O. of the Caesars Entertainment Corporation is, Mark P.
