(Los Angeles, CA) Viking Cruises is deeply rooted in its Russian heritage. Specifically; it was founded in the year 1997, and, in Leningrad Russia. The 2020-2021 Viking World Cruise, sea cruise, is a 161 day sea voyage. Additionally; six continents, 75 ports and overnight stays in 13 cities are all part of this very unique sea voyage and adventure. The Viking Sun, will be on duty as the cruise ship, for this ocean cruise. The cruise starts, or departs, from Miami Florida, U.S.A. Additionally, the Viking Sun sets sail on December 14th, 2020. The grand voyage, onboard the Viking Sun, starts with the cruise ship’s 465 guestrooms. All 465 guestrooms, or staterooms, are veranda style. Additionally, the guestrooms in total, have a capacity of 930 guests or travelers. The Viking Sun, has an estimated weight of 47,800 tons; interestingly enough. The Viking Sun also has five sister ships. These sister ships are; Viking Star, Viking Sea, Viking Sky, Viking Orion and Viking Jupiter. The latter, Viking Jupiter, is expected to be delivered in February of the year 2019. All of the cruise ships of the Viking fleet, fly Norway’s flag. The Italian, Fincantieri S.p.A, is the builder or manufacturer of all of the Viking fleet’s cruise ships. As previously said, the 2020-2021 Viking World Cruise departs from Miami, Florida U.S.A. This sea cruise ends in London, UK/Britain. In the middle, the Viking Sun will take the onboard passengers to the Caribbean Islands, the U.S.A.’s Hawaiian Islands, the South Pacific, ports in Asia and ports in the Middle East. The stops at Asian ports include, Hong Kong and Bangkok. The stops at Middle Eastern ports include; Oman, Jordan, Egypt and Israel.
Specifically and for the U.S.A.’s Hawaiian Islands; the islands are Oahu, and, Kauai. The sea ports are Honolulu, and, Nawiliwili. During the stay at the Honolulu port; the onboard travelers will be able to see historic landmarks, shop at first-class stores and visit the magnificent Waikiki Beach. During the stay at the Nawiliwili port; the onboard travelers will be able to explore, the natural vegetation and wildflowers that, make up the Island of Kauai. Interestingly enough, Kauai is nicknamed, Hawaii’s Garden Island. A trip to the Na Aina Kai Botanical Gardens & Sculpture Park, is also, included. Lastly and specifically, for the last stop in London UK/Britain, the stop is the historic Royal Borough of Greenwich. The latter is located in London, and, on the Thames River. This last stop also provides the travelers with the opportunity, to see London’s iconic tourist sights. The Tower of London, Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace and St. Paul’s Cathedral are all easily accessible from the historic Royal Borough of Greenwich.
