Interstate Hotels & Resorts Enters into a Partnership with JMA Ventures, LLC

(Arlington, VA) The Hayes Mansion was originally built in the year 1903, and, it is located in San Jose, California U.S.A. In the 1990s the City of San Jose, purchased the Hayes Mansion. Additionally, the city government renovated and brought the mansion up, to its present state. Today, it is considered to be a premiere example of late 19^th Century Mediterranean Revival Architecture, in the Santa Clara Valley. Additionally, in the year 1975 it was placed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. Furthermore, in the year 1981 it was declared to be a city landmark. Recently, Interstate Hotels & Resorts revealed that, it has been chosen to take over the management of the Hayes Mansion. Interstate Hotels & Resorts, a global third-party hotel management business, was chosen by JMA Ventures, LLC. The aforementioned business, recently purchased this historic landmark, which is located in Northern California, U.S.A.

In Northern California, JMA Ventures’ headquarters office, is also located there. Specifically, this business’s headquarters office, is in the City of San Francisco. The aforementioned business was founded in the year 1986, and, it is a full-service investment and development firm. Additionally, it focuses on real estate and leisure lifestyle assets. Furthermore; the portfolio of JMA Ventures does include landmark properties that are in the hospitality, resort, destination, residential, retail, office and commercial sectors of the economy. Kevin Morgan is a Partner at JMA Ventures, LLC. Through a press statement, Mr. Morgan said the following. “The Hayes Mansion is an iconic hotel uniquely positioned to cater to the growing Silicon Valley market while having the third largest amount of meeting space of all hotels in San Jose. We would like to thank Mayor Sam Liccardo and the Office of Economic Development of the City of San Jose, as well as Councilmember Sergio Jimenez, for working with us through this complex transaction and for their confidence in JMA to be great stewards of this important asset.”

Immediately; Interstate Hotels & Resorts will oversee an extensive multi-million dollar remodel, and, business model re-positioning. The latter, is expected to start late in the year, 2019. In reference to the remodel, adding luxury design items and amenities, is considered to be vital. The effort, is to maintain the architectural character and charm, of the Hayes Mansion. As a destination, the Hayes Mansion San Jose, is a 6 acre estate. Additionally, it is immersed in the view of the neighboring mountains. Furthermore, more than 20 acres of parkland are adjacent to the Hayes Mansion San Jose. As far as the physical location is concerned, it is 15 minutes from the San Jose International Airport. It is also about 45 minutes in driving distance; from the City of San Francisco, and, the City of Monterey. The hotel capabilities of the Hayes Mansion San Jose include, 214 hotel guestrooms and suites. There are 33,000 ft² of meeting space. 24 conference rooms, also, make up the 33,000 ft² of meeting space. A 24 hour fitness center, a heated outdoor swimming pool, two whirlpools and a 170 person restaurant finish off the hotel style amenities of the Hayes Mansion San Jose.
