The Oracle Corporation Reveals the Winners of its Third Annual U.S. Tennis Awards

(Indian Wells, CA) Most notably, the Oracle Corporation, is known for its computer technology solutions.  For example, the Oracle Cloud.  The latter; offers a complete technology solution as a suite of integrated applications for sales, service, marketing, human resources, finance, supply chain and manufacturing.  However, unbeknownst to most, the Oracle Corporation has a deep passion for tennis.  So much so that; it holds an annual tennis awards, and, it maintains a six member advisory council.  Recently, the Oracle Corporation revealed the winners, of its Third Annual Oracle U.S. Tennis Awards.  The 2019 winners are Jamie Loeb, and, Juan Cruz “JC” Aragone.

          Jamie Loeb and Juan Cruz “JC” Aragone were selected by, Oracle’s six member advisory council.  The official name is, The Oracle U.S. Tennis Awards Advisory Council.  As previously mentioned, it is comprised of six members; Lindsay Davenport, Ilana Kloss, Peggy Michel, Dr. Timothy Russell, Martin Blackman and Todd Martin.  Lindsay Davenport; is a Tennis Channel analyst, and, she was an Olympic gold medalist in the year 1996.  Additionally, she is an ex-singles world number 1, professional tennis player.  Ilana Kloss, is an ex-singles world number 19, professional tennis player.  Additionally, she is also the ex-Chief Executive Officer and Commissioner of World Team Tennis.  Peggy Michel, is a three time grand slam doubles champion, as a professional tennis player.  Additionally and currently, she is the Assistant Tournament Director & Vice President of Sales and Sponsorship, BNP Paribas Open.  Dr. Timothy Russell, is the Chief Executive Officer of ITA.  Martin Blackman, is the General Manager of USTA Player Development.  Todd Martin, is an ex-singles world number 4, professional tennis player.  Additionally and currently; he is the Chief Executive Officer of the International Tennis Hall of Fame, and, the Tournament Director of the Dell Technologies Hall of Fame Open.  Lindsay Davenport did release a press statement.  On behalf of, The Oracle U.S. Tennis Awards Advisory Council, Ms./Mrs. Davenport said the following.  “Jamie and JC are exciting players and the advisory council is confident these grants will help them reach their potential.  We’re all grateful to Oracle for these awards and everything else it is doing to support American tennis.”

          Jamie Loeb and Juan Cruz “JC” Aragone will each receive, from the Oracle Corporation (NYSE:  ORCL), a $100,000 USD grant.  The grant will be administered by, The Intercollegiate Tennis Association.  The aforementioned organization, is the governing body of college tennis.  The purpose of the grant, is to help Jamie Loeb and Juan Cruz “JC” Aragone further develop their respective, professional tennis career.  Currently, Jamie Loeb is 24 years old.  Additionally, she became a professional tennis player, in the year 2015.  Jamie Loeb played two years of collegiate tennis, at the University of North Carolina.  Whilst she was at the University of North Carolina, she won the 2015 NCAA Division I Tennis Championship.  Her record was 84-9, in the singles category.  As of the date of the announcement, Jamie Loeb’s universal tennis rating is 12.13.  Additionally, she is ranked number 219, in the WTA Tour rankings.  Jamie Loeb did release a press statement.  Through a press statement, Ms./Mrs. Loeb said the following.  “This means so much to me; I was in absolute shock when I heard.  The success of past recipients proves how big of an impact an award like this can have.  It’s great that Oracle recognizes the challenges we face.  I am beyond excited to get to work!” 

          Currently, Juan Cruz “JC” Aragone is 23 years old.  Additionally, he became a professional tennis player in the year 2017.  Juan Cruz “JC” Aragone played collegiate tennis, at the University of Virginia.  Whilst he was at the University of Virginia, he won three NCAA Men’s Tennis Championships.  His record was 109-22, in the singles category.  As of the date of the announcement, Juan Cruz “JC” Aragone’s universal tennis rating is 14.69.  Additionally, he is ranked number 243, in the ATP rankings.  Juan Cruz “JC” Aragone did release a press statement.  Through a press statement, Mr. Aragone said the following.  “This is such an honor.  Having the right support and coaching makes a huge impact on a tennis player’s career.  Oracle’s generosity will allow me to use that help to make it to the next level.” 

          To end, previous winners of the Oracle U.S. Tennis Awards include the following people.  In the year 2017, Danielle Collins and Mackenzie McDonald, won the award and grant.  In the year 2018, Francesca Di Lorenzo and Chris Eubanks, won the award and grant.  Mark Hurd is the Chief Executive Officer of the Oracle Corporation.  Through a press statement, Mr. Hurd said the following.  “JC and Jamie are talented young players with bright futures.  We created these awards to help young players with college experience as they transition into professional tennis.  We’re very proud of the success of our previous award winners and hope that these grants help Jamie and JC in their continued development.”  As previously stated, the aforementioned computer technology business recently revealed the winners, of its Third Annual Oracle U.S. Tennis Awards.  Lastly; the 2019 winners are Jamie Loeb, and, Juan Cruz “JC” Aragone.
