Rachel LaMar Releases a Children’s Book

(Carlsbad, CA) The month of May, is National Foster Care Month.  Additionally, during the month of May, a commitment and a promise are renewed.  The commitment and the promise are to ensure that, the more than 440,000 children in the foster care system, have a bright future.  As a result; National Foster Care Month, also becomes, the time to celebrate and acknowledge.  Foster parents, family members, volunteers, mentors, policymakers and child welfare professionals are celebrated and acknowledged; for their contributions.  The celebrated and acknowledged contributions do include, finding permanent homes for the foster care children.  Recently, author Rachel LaMar confirmed that, she too keeps true to the spirit of National Foster Care Month.  Specifically, the spirit of National Foster Care Month was kept true, through, the release of a children’s book.  Rachel LaMar’s children’s book is entitled, Bennie Bear’s Dream.  Bennie Bear’s Dream, does indeed echo the mission of National Foster Care Month.

          The echoed mission, is conveyed through a journey, to find love.  Bennie Bear’s journey, to be more precise about the journey, is to find love from a child.  In fact; it is Bennie Bear’s dream, and, he pursues it despite other bears who doubt him.  The doubt is grounded, in the occurrence that, their toy factory has been closed.  The other bears have accepted their fate, except for Bennie.  He still keeps hope alive, along with, a positive attitude.  Ultimately; an opportunity is presented to Bennie, and, he seizes it in order to make his dream a reality. 

          Bennie Bear’s Dream, is intended for children who are, 3 years old to 6 years old.  Dr. Simon Mills is a children’s book author, and, Rachel LaMar’s colleague.  Through a press statement, Dr. Simon Mills said the following.  “I love, love, love children’s literature that comes to life and Rachel LaMar goes one step further in bringing teddy bears to life in her book, ‘Bennie Bear’s Dream.’  This book is un’bear’ably loveable.”

          Returning to; Rachel LaMar, the aforementioned children’s book author is an attorney, and, a real estate broker.  Additionally, she lives in Carlsbad, California U.S.A.  Ms./Mrs. LaMar was adopted at birth.  As a result; she has always possessed a special type of compassion and passion for adoption, and, foster care.  Bennie Bear’s Dream, intends to be a vehicle through which light is shed, on the foster care system.  Children who are awaiting adoption, is also part, of the previously stated.  In an effort to convey her compassion and passion to others; Rachel LaMar, will donate a portion of the profits to foster care services.  An example, of a foster care service is, Walden Family Services.  The aforementioned organization; is located in Southern California, and, it is a foster care and adoption agency.

          To end, Walden Family Services did release a press statement.  Arlene Lieberman is the Chairman of the Board of Walden Family Services.  Through a press statement, Ms./Mrs. Lieberman said the following.  “What a delightful and sweet story!  Bennie is dreaming of his forever child, much like every foster child is dreaming of a forever home.  In the end, all we ever need is someone to love.”  As previously stated, author Rachel LaMar recently confirmed that, she too keeps true to the spirit of National Foster Care Month.  The spirit of National Foster Care Month was kept true, through, the release of a children’s book.  Rachel LaMar’s children’s book is entitled, Bennie Bear’s Dream.  Lastly, Bennie Bear’s Dream, does indeed echo the mission of National Foster Care Month.
