Allen Media Broadcasting, LLC Purchases Two Bayou City Broadcasting Businesses

(Los Angeles, CA) In recent news, the Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc. (NASDAQ:  SBGI) announced the acquisition of the Fox Regional Sports Networks.  Post acquisition, a completely owned and indirect holding company will own and operate, the Fox Regional Sports Networks.  Specifically, this holding company is named, Diamond Sports Group, LLC.  In this mix of recent news, was the revelation that Byron Allen of Entertainment Studios, Inc., will have two roles in Diamond Sports Group, LLC.  The first role, is equity and content partner.  The second role, is indirect parent of Diamond Sports Group, LLC.  For the previously said, it is to be done through, Entertainment Studios, Inc.  Recently, Byron Allen revealed that, Allen Media Broadcasting, LLC has entered into a definitive agreement to purchase.  Technically, it is a definitive purchase and sale agreement to acquire, two Bayou City Broadcasting businesses for $165 million USD.  These two businesses are; Bayou City Broadcasting Evansville, Inc., and, Bayou City Broadcasting Lafayette, Inc. 

          Bayou City Broadcasting Evansville, Inc., and, Bayou City Broadcasting Lafayette, Inc. post acquisition; will be owned by Allen Media Broadcasting, LLC.  Obviously, Allen Media Broadcasting, LLC is part of Entertainment Studios, Inc.  For these $165 million dollars; Allen Media Broadcasting, LLC receives one CBS, one NBC and two Fox broadcast television affiliates in two television markets.  The two television markets are respectively located in the State of Indiana, and, the State of Louisiana.  Specifically, Bayou City Broadcasting Evansville, Inc. is made up of two television stations.  These two television stations are located in Evansville, Indiana U.S.A.  Additionally; they are WEVV (CBS), and, WEEV (Fox).  Specifically, Bayou City Broadcasting Lafayette, Inc. is made up of two television stations.  These two television stations are located in Lafayette, Louisiana U.S.A.  Additionally, they are KLAF (NBC), and, KADN (Fox).  Overall; the acquisition of these four television stations greatly enhances the distribution capabilities of Entertainment Studios, Inc., and, Allen Media Broadcasting, LLC. 

          DuJuan McCoy is the Owner, President and the Chief Executive Officer of the two Bayou City Broadcasting businesses.  Through a press statement, Mr. McCoy said the following.  “Byron Allen is a visionary, and a brilliant entrepreneur who always gets it done.  Byron Allen’s companies, which exemplify excellence, are perfectly positioned to continue the strong tradition these stations have in serving their communities.” 

          To end, Byron Allen did release a press statement.  Byron Allen is the Founder, Chairman and the Chief Executive Officer of Entertainment Studios, Inc.  Through a press statement, Mr. Allen said the following.  “DuJuan McCoy is an outstanding broadcaster and he has done a phenomenal job of assembling a strong management team to operate these network affiliate stations.  This is another milestone for our company, as we have now agreed to purchase our very first broadcast television stations and continue to look for other opportunities to grow our global media company through strategic acquisitions.”  As previously stated, Byron Allen recently revealed that, Allen Media Broadcasting, LLC has entered into a definitive agreement to purchase.  Technically, it is a definitive purchase and sale agreement to acquire two, Bayou City Broadcasting businesses for $165 million USD.  Lastly, these two businesses are; Bayou City Broadcasting Evansville, Inc., and, Bayou City Broadcasting Lafayette, Inc.
