Connect Homes Secures $10.8 Million USD in a Series A Funding Round

(Los Angeles, CA) The year 2013; was the launch year, for the Los Angeles U.S.A. area pre-fabricated homes manufacturer, Connect Homes.  Architects Jared Levy and Gordon Scott, founded this business, in hopes that it would revolutionize things.  The revolution, according to Jared Levy and Gordon Scott, started with the elimination of inefficiencies.  From this point, a meticulous design concept and process, was deemed to be paramount.  For the business side of things, an affordability sales pitch, is on the marquee.  Recently, Connect Homes revealed that, it has secured $10.8 million USD in a Series A funding round.  New investors of the aforementioned pre-fabricated homes manufacturer are; Meta Prop, Almubader Growth Fund and Wells Fargo Strategic Capital.  However; the most noteworthy new investors of Connect Homes are Brick & Mortar Ventures, and, Virgo Investment Group.

          Brick & Mortar Ventures, and, Virgo Investment Group as the most noteworthy new investors; will be contributing funds for the following.  The funds will be used for the following three things.  The first thing, is the construction of the new factory building.  The second thing, is the implementation of Connect Homes’ patented modular technology.  The third thing, is to have the ability to keep pace with the demand, for affordable housing in urban areas.  As part of the announcement, there was the revelation that Darren Bechtel and Scott Johnson, will be joining Connect Homes’ Board of Directors.  Specifically; Darren Bechtel is from Brick & Mortar Ventures, whilst, Scott Johnson is from Virgo Investment Group.  Darren Bechtel works at Brick & Mortar Ventures.  Through a press statement, Mr. Bechtel said the following.  “Single family home building costs have become unsustainable in many metro areas, and Connect Homes’ innovative system solves core logistical issues that have kept prefab housing from being a clear winner over traditional construction.”  Darren Bechtel also said.  “Their approach helps people affordably build homes in areas where it’s out of reach.  We’re excited to help make their factory the most technologically advanced of its kind.”  Scott Johnson works at Virgo Investment Group.  Through a press statement, Mr. Johnson said the following.  “There are huge efficiencies to be gained by turning off-site construction into a vertically integrated solution in the single family home space.  Connect Homes has created a beautiful housing product that they design, build, ship and install efficiently.  Their patented modular technology means they can serve every market in the US from their single factory.”

          Returning to, Connect Homes’ meticulous design concept, the aforementioned is best highlighted by the following five things.  First, Connect Homes’ meticulous design concept attempts to connect people, to the outdoors.  Second; it attempts to produce a turnkey, or ready to use, green home.  Third, Connect Homes’ meticulous design concept, attempts to be sustainable in nature.  In other words, it attempts to leave a small ecological footprint.  Fourth, it passes on to the customer lower shipping costs.  Fifth, it offers the customer the convenience, of a design and construction process that is streamlined.
