Cybersecurity Ventures Releases a Non-Fiction Book

(Sausalito, CA) Cybersecurity Ventures is an internet based business.  Specifically, it is two parts.  The first part, is being a provider of data and research.  The second part, is being the publisher of Cybercrime Magazine.  For the first part, the data and research is about the global cyber economy.  Additionally; it also provides cyber economic market data, insights and predictions.  As a result; the aforementioned business is a trusted source for cyber security facts, figures and statistics.  For Cybercrime Magazine, Cybersecurity Ventures publishes quarterly and annual reports.  These reports cover the topic, global cyber crime.  Recently, Cybersecurity Ventures announced that, it has released a non-fiction book.  The non-fiction book is entitled, Women Know Cyber:  100 Fascinating Females Fighting Cybercrime.  In, Women Know Cyber:  100 Fascinating Females Fighting Cybercrime, the topic of female cyber fighters is discussed.  The official co-authors are Steve Morgan, and, Di Freeze.

          Steve Morgan and Di Freeze, this non-fiction book’s co-authors, discuss female cyber fighters in an effort to dispel a myth.  In fact and in Women Know Cyber:  100 Fascinating Females Fighting Cybercrime; the myth that is attempted to be dispelled is that women are barely represented, or, wanted in the cyber security field.  The previously said, is a little more urgent than one would think.  For example, Cybersecurity Ventures likes to cite this fascinating statistic.  Cyber crime damage costs are estimated to arrive at the $6 trillion USD level, by the year 2021.  The previous, is obviously an increase from the $3 trillion USD level, of the year 2015.  Additionally, this non-fiction book by Steve Morgan and Di Freeze, intends to be an educational reference guide.  As an educational reference guide; students, parents, teachers or any type of person for that matter are the targeted audience or reader. 

          Specifically, Women Know Cyber:  100 Fascinating Females Fighting Cybercrime, is highlighted by contributions from cyber security experts.  These experts are from different parts of the world, and, they each have their own unique cyber security background.  All of these contributing experts; are engaged on a daily basis in the protection of a government agency, engaged in the protection of a business or are engaged in the protection of people from a cyber crime.  Obviously, all of the featured experts are women.  However, this part is also important.  According to Cybersecurity Ventures, it is predicted that cyber crime will triple the amount of job openings, within the next five years.  Additionally, by the year 2021 there will be an estimated 3.5 million cyber security job openings.
