Subaru Motorsports U.S.A. Shines Bright at the 2019 Dirtfish Olympus Rally

(Olympia, WA) The American Rally Association, or A.R.A., is fully committed and dedicated to advancing the racing sport of Stage Rally.  Officially, it is a 501 c-3 non-profit organization.  Additionally, it is a completely owned subsidiary, of the United States Auto Club (U.S.A.C.).  For the most part, the A.R.A. Series is made up of the following Stage Rally racing events.  Oregon Trail Rally, Susquehannock Trail Rally, Olympus Rally, New England Forest Rally, Ojibwe Forest Rally, Idaho Rally and the Tour de Forest Rally are the A.R.A. Series’s Stage Rally racing events.  Recently, Subaru of America, Inc. revealed that, Subaru Motorsports U.S.A. shined very bright at the 2019 Dirtfish Olympus Rally.  For the record, Dirtfish is the name of the sponsor, Olympus Rally is the name of the A.R.A. Series Stage Rally racing event.  Specifically, Subaru Motorsports U.S.A. won both; first place, and, second place.  In reference to the first place win; the team was made up of driver Oliver Solberg, and, co-driver Denis Giraudet.  In reference to the second place win; the team was made up of driver David Higgins, and, co-driver Craig Drew.

          Driver David Higgins, and, co-driver Craig Drew as the second place winners of the 2019 Dirtfish Olympus Rally; are also teammates of Oliver Solberg, and, Denis Giraudet.  Obviously, the team is Subaru Motorsports U.S.A.  Returning to, David Higgins and Craig Drew.  They earned their second podium finish for the 2019 A.R.A. Series.  Regrettably, this team of the A.R.A. Series, hasn’t won a racing event.  The latter; is a little bit surprising, given the fact that, David Higgins is the defending A.R.A. Series Champion.  Additionally, David Higgins and Craig Drew are scheduled to race next at, Oregon Trail Rally.  The previous, is in May of the year 2019.  David Higgins did release a press statement.  Through a press statement, Mr. Higgins said the following.  “The brake issue on Saturday was a bit of frustration for us.  We had good speed on that stage and losing so much time meant we had a very hard job ahead of us on Sunday trying to drive from behind.  The stage wins show we’ve got the speed to get back to winning form—just waiting on some luck.  For now we’ll focus on the championship fight and make sure we’re putting together a solid weekend every time we’re in the car.”  

          Returning to; Oliver Solberg and co-driver Denis Giraudet, they are scheduled to race next at, Idaho Rally International.  The previous, is in June of the year 2019.  Oliver Solberg won first place at the 2019 Dirtfish Olympus Rally, in a blue and gold, Subaru WRX STI.  Additionally; the first place win was a good example of fast, hard and consistent driving throughout this Stage Rally racing event.  Officially, the 2019 Dirtfish Olympus Rally started on April 27th, 2019.  The previous, ended on April 28th, 2019.  This A.R.A. Series Stage Rally racing event; is made up of 127 competition miles, or, 199 transit miles.  The racing surface is categorized as, hard and loose packed gravel.  The official location is, Shelton, Washington U.S.A.  Shelton is outside of the City of Seattle.  Additionally, this area is a forest.

          To end, Oliver Solberg did release a press statement.  Through a press statement, Mr. Solberg said the following.  “Winning my first event for Subaru is an amazing feeling.  This is my first time at the Olympus Rally and I’m working with a new co-driver, plus I was first on the road all weekend which meant the surface was very loose.  But the Saturday stages gave us a lot of confidence, and Denis and I pushed as hard as we could on the last stage today to hold on for the win.”  Oliver Solberg also said.  “When we got to the end of the last stage, it was like a dream had come true for me.  My mom was first to the car and then dad… you know we have all worked hard for this and I have a lot to thank those guys for.  Us Solbergs, we’re an emotional family and this was an incredible, incredible moment for us all.”  As previously stated, Subaru of America, Inc. recently revealed that, Subaru Motorsports U.S.A. shined very bright at the 2019 Dirtfish Olympus Rally.  For the record, Dirtfish is the name of the sponsor, Olympus Rally is the name of the A.R.A.
