The latter, is officially the first Viking Cruises owned and operated river boat, on the Nile River. Additionally, it has been completely renovated for this purpose. For the announced expansion of the 2020 Egypt Season, the river boat, Viking Osiris, will be sent off to perform duty. Currently, the Viking Osiris is under construction. However, once it is operational and in the Country of Egypt, it is going to double the capacity of the Pharaohs & Pyramids River Cruise itinerary. The new pre-cruise itinerary extensions, to be more exact, are two new pre-cruise itineraries. Additionally, they are five day pre-departure extensions of the Pharaohs & Pyramids River Cruise itinerary. Specifically, they are stays in London and Oxford, in the Country of the United Kingdom/Britain.
Returning to, the river cruise ship Viking Osiris. Once it is completed, and, ready to perform duty it will be capable of the following. The Viking Osiris will have a guest, or traveler, capacity of 82 people. Additionally, there will be 41 staterooms. This river boat is designed to have an elegant Scandinavian appearance. Furthermore; it will be state of the art, and, very clean. Returning to, the newly added five day itinerary extensions, the aforementioned will be held in the Country of the UK/Britain. Specifically, each itinerary extension is five days long. Officially; they are named British Collections of Ancient Egypt, and, King Tut & the UK’s Egyptian Collections. The itinerary extension, British Collections of Ancient Egypt, is highlighted by visits to the following four museums. These four museums do have permanent exhibitions, and, artifacts from the ancient Egyptian civilization. The four museums are the British Museum, the Museum of Sir John Soane, the Petrie Museum and the Ashmolean Museum. The itinerary extension, King Tut & the UK’s Egyptian Collections, is highlighted by visits to the following three museums. These three museums do have permanent exhibitions, and, artifacts about King Tutankhamun. The three museums are the Griffith Institute at Oxford University, Highclere Castle and Saatchi Gallery.
