Brand U.S.A. Announces its IMAX Film; Into America’s Wild

(Anaheim, CA) The Travel Promotion Act of 2009, is the law that, created the Corporation for Travel Promotion.  The latter, is a public-private partnership that, is tasked with promoting the United States of America as a tourist destination.  As part of the law, the Corporation for Travel Promotion receives matching funds, from the U.S. Federal Government.  The matching funds, is the equivalent to the amount of funds that, are raised from the private sector.  However, the matching funds cannot exceed $100 million USD.  Interestingly, the name of the organization, the Corporation for Travel Promotion was re-named.  The new name is, Brand U.S.A.  Officially and today, Brand U.S.A. is the U.S.A.’s marketing organization for tourism.  The mission objective of the aforementioned organization is to increase international visitation to the U.S.A., and subsequently, give fuel to the economy.  A positive international image of the U.S.A., is also, included in the previously stated.  Recently, Brand U.S.A. announced that, it will release a film made specifically for IMAX theaters.  The effort is to promote the U.S.A., as a tourist destination.  The film is entitled, Into America’s Wild.  Additionally; Into America’s Wild, is the third film that has been made by, Brand U.S.A.  The official premiere, is all set and ready for Washington, D.C. in February 2020.

          In February 2020, Into America’s Wild, will be officially premiered.  However, Into America’s Wild, has already been showcased.  The previously said, occurred at IPW.  Specifically, it is the U.S. Travel Association’s IPW.  Additionally, it is a trade show for international inbound travel.  IPW 2019, was held from Saturday June 1st, 2019, to, Wednesday, June 5th, 2019.  As previously said, Into America’s Wild, is the third film that has been made by Brand U.S.A.  The first two films were; National Parks Adventure, and, America’s Musical Journey.  All of the films were made specifically for IMAX theaters; interestingly enough.

          Returning to, Into America’s Wild, the aforementioned was made in partnership with two other businesses.  These two other businesses are; MacGillivray Freeman Films, and, Expedia Group Media Solutions.  The objective of this film is to take an international audience, on a scenic journey, of the United States of America.  The effort of the objective is the discovery; by the international audience of scenic byways, ancient homelands, unknown trails and hidden gems of the U.S.A.’s natural landscape.  Leading the international audience, are two American trailblazers.  The first trailblazer is, a Native-American man, John Herrington.  Coincidentally, John Herrington is also recognized for being, the first Native-American astronaut.  The second trailblazer is a pilot, Ariel Tweto.  Additionally, Ariel Tweto is from the State of Alaska.  Specifically; John Herrington and Ariel Tweto, guide the international viewing audience, through, the following experiences.  Kayaking the State of Oregon’s stunning coast, exploring the ancient canyons of the U.S.A.’s Southwest, witnessing the wild side of the State of Alaska and walking the Appalachian Trail are the aforementioned guided experiences.

          Shaun MacGillivray is the President of MacGillivray Freeman Films.  Additionally, he is also a producer of, Into America’s Wild.  Through a press statement, Mr. MacGillivray said the following.  This new film will take audiences on an exciting journey of America’s many outdoor wonders.  We hope that this immersive, giant-screen experience will encourage travelers to connect with nature and seek new experiences and adventures in the USA.”  Jennifer Andre is the Senior Director of Business Development at Expedia Group Media Solutions.  Through a press statement, Ms./Mrs. Andre said the following.  We are proud to work with Brand USA and MacGillivray Films on this third film that showcases the natural tapestry of America’s outdoors.  We are encouraged by the success of the past two films, and believe that this new film will encourage even more international travel to the United States.”

          To end, Brand U.S.A. did release a press statement.  Christopher L. Thompson is the President and the Chief Executive Officer of Brand U.S.A.  Through a press statement, Mr. Thompson said the following.  In the spirit of our hit films, ‘National Parks Adventure’ and ‘America’s Musical Journey’ we are thrilled to partner again with MacGillivray Freeman Films and Expedia on the release of our third giant screen film.”  Christopher L. Thompson also said.  “Our latest film takes you on a cross-country journey to scenic byways, ancient homelands, little gems, and hidden trails that form the natural tapestry of America.”  As previously stated, Brand U.S.A. recently announced that, it will release a film made specifically for IMAX theaters.  The effort is to promote the U.S.A., as a tourist destination.  The film is entitled, Into America’s Wild.  Additionally; Into America’s Wild, is the third film that has been made by, Brand U.S.A.  Lastly, the official premiere is all set and ready, for Washington, D.C. in February 2020.
