Kate Burke Promotes Her Fiction Books

(Visalia, CA) Kate Burke often, and unapologetically, references her childhood in Clarence, New York, as one of the reasons she became an author.  Also whilst growing up in Clarence, New York U.S.A., she read a lot of Laura Ingalls Wilder.  With festering and boiling thoughts of countryside and prairie life in her mind, it was unbeknownst to most that, she herself would end up writing fiction books or novels.  Kate’s career, as an adult woman, was being a high school teacher.  English, to be more exact, about what she taught at the high school.  Her current husband; Ron Burke, completed a middle level management career with AT&T, and then, he decided to retire.  Ron’s retirement, led him back to his family’s farm, in the State of Nebraska.  Oddly enough, the two met on a writer’s forum on the internet.  After marriage and love, Kate Burke was ready to release festering and boiling thoughts, of countryside and prairie life.  It turns out that, Ron, was a perfect source of inspiration.  Recently, Kate Burke announced that, she is promoting her series of fiction books.  Specifically; the aforementioned author revealed that, her series of fiction books is referred to as, the Blue River Boy Series of Books.  The latter, is made up of six fiction books or novels.  For the entire series Ron Burke is the source of inspiration, and, written material.

Ron Burke as the source of inspiration, and, written material grew up on a farm; in the State of Nebraska U.S.A.  Additionally, his real life stories of his boyhood, become, the adventures of the protagonist; in this series of fiction books or novels.  As a series of fiction books, the Blue River Boy Series of Books, is intended for children of all ages.  The period of time, in which, Ron’s stories become adventures is the U.S.A.’s World War II era.  Yes, the last part was correct.  All of these novels for children, take place in the State of Nebraska, during World War II.  The previously said, is something special for an author who grew up being inspired by, Laura Ingalls Wilder.

However and returning to, the series of fiction books or novels, the aforementioned are Kate Burke’s intellectual property.  Kate Burke’s, Blue River Boy Series of Books, is made up of the following six fiction books or novels.  The first is, Blue River Boy:  Blue River Boy Book One 1943.  The latter, was published on January 15th, 2016.  The second is, Blue River Adventures:  Blue River Boy Book Two 1945.  The latter, was published on March 31st, 2016.  The third is, Blue River Seasons:  Blue River Boy Book Three 1948.  The latter, was published on July 21st, 2016.  The fourth is, Blue River Rambler:  Blue River Boy Book Four 1951.  The latter, was published on September 12th, 2016.  The fifth is, Blue River Goodbye:  Blue River Boy Book Five 1953.  The latter, was published on November 29th, 2016.  Finally; the sixth is, Blue River Boy:  Omnibus Edition.  The latter, was published on January 17th, 2017.

Kate Burke did release a press statement.  Through a press statement, Ms./Mrs. Burke said the following.  “I couldn’t believe the stuff Ron told me.  I tell him, I’m lucky you lived to tell me about it.”  Kate Burke continues talking about her husband, who is the source of inspiration for her novels.  “Sixty years later, Ron’s childhood wasn’t much different.  They didn’t have electricity.  They pumped water from the well for everything—drinking water, washing clothes.  Yes, they used tractors and drove to town in a car, but Ron’s own great-uncle, who lived right across the road, farmed with horses.  It struck me that Laura Ingalls’ self-reliant, pioneer society really had its ending in Ron’s childhood.  Once World War II ended, the world was changed forever.  Ron was a country boy but he grew up totally into electronics and computers.  We discovered each other in an online writer’s forum.”  Kate Burke concluded her press statement, by stating the following.  “We both miss the farm, and Nebraska, in many ways.  But farming itself is so different now.  Farm kids today would be astounded by how Ron grew up.”

To end and as previously stated, Kate Burke recently announced that, she is promoting her series of fiction books.  Specifically; the aforementioned author revealed that, her series of fiction books is referred to as, the Blue River Boy Series of Books.  The latter, is made up of six fiction books or novels.  For the entire series Ron Burke is the source of inspiration, and, written material.  Lastly, all of the novels are about rural life during World War II, in the State of Nebraska U.S.A.
