(Redwood City, CA) Crystal Dynamics, Inc., has its headquarters office in the, Silicon Valley U.S.A. Interestingly, it is also a subsidiary of Square Enix, Inc. The previously said, occurred when, Eidos Interactive was acquired. This acquisition, occurred in the year 2009. Incidentally and initially, Crystal Dynamics, Inc. was founded in the year 1992. The acquisition by Eidos Interactive, occurred in the year 1998. Throughout its 27 year history Crystal Dynamics, Inc. has been the developer, and the publisher, of more than 30 award winning video game titles. The video game titles; Gex, Legacy of Kain and Tomb Raider are three of these more than 30 award winning video game titles. Recently, Square Enix, Inc. announced that, it believes in its subsidiary. The belief is also the hope that, Crystal Dynamics, Inc. can deliver another award winning title. Specifically, Square Enix, Inc. revealed that the video game, Marvel’s Avengers, is a planned future release. The planned future release of, Marvel’s Avengers, is also a collaborative effort with Marvel Entertainment, LLC. The aforementioned video game, is all set and ready, for a May 15th, 2020 release date.
On May 15th, 2020, Marvel’s Avengers, will be made available for the following devices or platforms. The devices or platforms are Playstation 4, Xbox One, Xbox One X, Stadia and PC. Specifically, Marvel’s Avengers is hoped to be an immersive cinematic story, converted into a video game. It is also hoped that; the aforementioned video game will be highlighted by high level octane action, and, regular content updates. The idea is to give the video game player, a video game that, can be played for several years. In order to accomplish this effort, Crystal Dynamics, Inc. and Eidos Montreal, are the primary developers. Developmental support, was also, provided by Nixxes. However and briefly returning to; the collaborative effort, the aforementioned is between Square Enix, Inc., and, Marvel Entertainment, LLC. Square Enix, Inc. is a completely owned subsidiary of Square Enix Holdings, Co., Ltd (TYO: 9684). Meanwhile, Marvel Entertainment, LLC is a completely owned subsidiary of The Walt Disney Company (NYSE: DIS). Jay Ong is the Executive Vice President and Head of Games at Marvel Entertainment, LLC. The brief synopsis of Marvel’s Avengers, is as follows. This video game is intended to be a constantly expanding universe. Additionally, the expanding universe is best characterized by a customizable roster of super heroes. The cinematic story begins on A-Day. On this day the Avengers, Captain America, Iron Man, The Hulk, the Black Widow and Thor are at the new Avengers headquarters. The new Avengers headquarters is located in San Francisco, California U.S.A. Additionally, it is a hi-technology facility. As part of the celebration that is A-Day, is the unveiling of a helicarrier. This helicarrier is powered by, an experimental energy source. Regrettably, A-Day becomes a complete catastrophe. This catastrophe leads to massive destruction. Unexpectedly, the Avengers are blamed for everything that happened. As a result, the Avengers are permanently disbanded. Five years later, the planet is in peril. Only the outlawed Avengers, can stop, a catastrophic series of escalating threats.
