Universal Music Enterprises Re-Releases the Music Album; Throwing Copper (1994)

(Los Angeles, CA) In the month of July 1993, producer Jerry Harrison, initiated and oversaw the recording process of a music album.  Specifically, the recording dates are July to September 1993.  The recording location was Pachyderm Studio, Cannon Falls, Minnesota U.S.A.  This music album, is categorized under the alternative rock music genre.  Additionally, it is Throwing Copper (1994), by Live.  Unbeknownst to the record label, Radioactive, and to a lot of people for that matter; Throwing Copper (1994) would end up in a special place.  This special place is best characterized by, the recognition of 8 times platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (R.I.A.A.).  Recently; Universal Music Enterprises announced that, it too will continue to recognize the special place, where Throwing Copper (1994) ended up.  Specifically, the aforementioned giant of the music industry revealed that, it is re-releasing the aforementioned music album.  The re-release, is also, a celebration and commemoration of the 25th year anniversary.  Throwing Copper (1994), will officially be re-released as, Throwing Copper (1994):  Super Deluxe 25th Anniversary Edition (2 LPs + 2 CDs) Box Set Edition.  The previous, is all set and ready for a July 19th, 2019 release date.

          On July 19th, 2019, Throwing Copper (1994):  Super Deluxe 25th Anniversary Edition (2 LPs + 2 CDs) Box Set Edition, will be re-released by the following record labels.  The record labels are Radioactive, MCA and Universal Music Enterprises.  The super deluxe box set edition, will be made up of the actual music album, with added bonus tracks.  Specifically; the super deluxe box set edition is made up of 2 LP black vinyl music records, a 12 page booklet and 2 compact discs.  Interestingly, the 12 page booklet contains an in-depth interview of the band.  The effort of the interview, is to chronicle the music album’s era.  The 2 compact discs are made up of 26 tracks.  These 26 tracks, also include, 8 previously unreleased live tracks.  The live tracks are from Live’s Woodstock ’94 performance.

          Throwing Copper (1994):  Super Deluxe 25th Anniversary Edition (2 LPs + 2 CDs) Box Set Edition, will also be made available in the following ways.  A deluxe digital version, and, a standalone compact disc are the two ways the aforementioned music album; will also be made available.

          Live is an American alternative rock and roll band.  Additionally, this band was formed in the year 1984.  The years of active status, for this band are as follows.  The year 1984 to the year 2009; is the first set of years of active status.  The year 2012 to the present, is the second set of years of active status.  Live was formed in York, Pennsylvania U.S.A.  The current members of Live are Chad Taylor, Patrick Dahlheimer, Chad Gracey and Ed Kowalczyk.  The current touring members are; Zak Loy, and, Robin Diaz.  Chad Taylor is the lead guitarist, and, the backup vocalist.  Patrick Dahlheimer is the bassist.  Chad Gracey is the drummer.  Ed Kowalczyk is the lead vocalist, and, the rhythm guitarist.  Additionally, and for the touring members, Zak Loy is a rhythm guitarist.  Meanwhile, Robin Diaz is a drummer.  The discography of the alternative rock and roll band Live, is as follows; The Death of a Dictionary (1989, as Public Affection), Mental Jewelry (1991), Throwing Copper (1994), Secret Samadhi (1997), The Distance to Here (1999), V (2001), Birds of Pray (2003), Songs from Black Mountain (2006) and The Turn (2014).  Additionally, Local 717 (2018) is a five song EP music album.  The latter, is the most recent new music that is available.

          Ed Kowalczyk did release a press statement.  Through a press statement, Mr. Kowalczyk said the following.  Throwing Copper is big songs, big feelings, big dynamics.  It was us taking the cart and throwing it way ahead of the horse, and we hoped the horse would eventually catch up.  We had a ‘let’s build it and hope they come’ attitude.”  Ed Kowalczyk also said.  “The fact that these songs have become part of our fans’ DNA—that this album still matters to them and there’s still such an emotional connection—that is the real accomplishment.”  Finally, Ed Kowalczyk concluded his press statement by stating.  “All of the other things are great, that there are all of these trophy moments to reminisce about.  But at the end of the day, the process and the journey and the music transcend all of those.”

          Patrick Dahlheimer did release a press statement.  Through a press statement, Mr. Dahlheimer said the following.  “While touring for Mental Jewelry, the rooms were getting bigger, and I wanted our new music to fill those places and beyond.  With Throwing Copper, I just knew it had to be more grand.”  Chad Taylor did release a press statement.  Additionally, the press statement is in reference to the band’s performance at Woodstock ’94.  The latter, was August 12th, 1994.  “When you listen to it now, the crowd is so loud, they literally overcome the sound of the band at times.  It’s magical!  As I was mixing the audio for this re-release, it was giving me chills.  Because I realized it was the band is in its primal infancy—the true birth of LIVE.”
