D.L. Heather Releases a Narrative Literature Book

(Los Angeles, CA) In English Literature, poetry, uses aesthetic and rhythmic qualities of the English language.  The goal, is to convey and evoke meaning.  Additionally, a second goal is to replace conventional meaning with a prosaic ostensible meaning.  In order to accomplish the aforementioned; phonaesthetics, sound symbolism and meter are used.  In regards to meter, there are five types of meter.  The five types of meter are; iambic, trochaic, spondaic, anapestic and dactylic.  Continuing with this line of thought, in Japanese Literature or poetry, there is the haiku.  A haiku is a poem that, is made up of seventeen syllables that are then divided by, three lines.  Recently, D.L. Heather announced that, her narrative style is geared towards poetry.  Specifically, the aforementioned author revealed that, she has released a narrative literature book.  Technically, the narrative literature book is a poetry book that, is made up of haikus.  The poetry book is entitled, Metamorphosis.  In, Metamorphosis, Ms./Mrs. Heather attempts to fight the stigma that exists around depression.

          The stigma that exists around depression, and, the effort to fight it through Metamorphosis also includes; an official book launch.  The official book launch is all set and ready for, July 20th, 2019.  The city will be the City of Los Angeles, California U.S.A.  The start time, will be 12:00 pm.  Registration is required through Dlheather.com, or, info@dlheather.com.  However and briefly returning to; narrative literature, the aforementioned and in regards to poetry, is considered to be its own genre.  Specifically, it is defined by lengthy poems.  These poems are usually centered on events that, are important to the popular culture of that period of time.  The goal of the effort is a continuous narrative, in which, these events in popular culture are retold or recounted.

          Returning to, Metamorphosis, and as previously said it is made up of haikus.  The haiku, and in reference to narrative literature, attempts to do the same thing; tell a story.  However and traditionally; a haiku has a reference to the seasons, and, it attempts to convey dualism.  Through specific word imagery, the layers of the poem, ultimately reveal the dualism.  Metamorphosis, contains 50 emotionally charged haiku poems.  Additionally, these poems are paired with an illustration.  The illustrations are Kay Miller’s works.  The emotions that charge up the haikus are; love, heartbreak, longing and survival.  As previously said, the overall idea or effort is D.L. Heather fighting the stigma that, exists around depression.

          To end, D.L. Heather did release a press statement.  Through a press statement, Ms./Mrs. Heather said the following.  “As writers, often we get caught up in our destination that we tend to forget to recognize the journey, particularly the value in the people we meet along the way.  Never overlook those who we encounter for they are the true inspirations, we are simply just the storytellers.”  D.L. Heather also said.  “That’s the thing about depression:  We can survive almost anything, as long as we see the end in sight.  But depression is so insidious, and it changes shape daily, that it becomes impossible to see the end.  Sometimes a book gives you the words to explain what you’ve been feeling for so long.  I hope that Metamorphosis will help people through some tough times.”  As previously stated, D.L.
