eBay, Inc. is Set and Ready to Launch; eBay Managed Delivery

(San Jose, CA) Devin N. Wenig is the President and the Chief Executive Officer of eBay, Inc.  This occurred, in July of the year, 2015.  Prior to his ascension, he was the President of Global Marketplaces at eBay, Inc.  Currently, he sits on two boards of directors.  The businesses are eBay, Inc., and, Aether Systems.  As far as retail experts are concerned, or better yet categorized, there are few with the necessary skills.  The skills that are needed, in order, to successfully oversee millions of retail transactions; of course.  Additionally, these retail transactions include; consumer to consumer, and, business to consumer retail sales.  All that is the previously said, in other words, is what makes Devin N. Wenig a retail expert.  Reliable when it comes to a scheduled progression of the business, is a good second way, of underlining Devin N. Wenig and of course; eBay, Inc.  Recently, eBay, Inc. announced that, it has further developed its own online retail platform.  Specifically, the aforementioned business revealed that, it is set and ready to launch; eBay Managed Delivery.  The latter, is expected to start business operations, sometime next year.  For now, the pilot program has proven to be successful.

          The successful pilot program, as it stands today, is a service that fulfills customer’s orders that are placed on eBay.com.  Additionally; it works in conjunction with other online platforms that, make online selling, or, internet retailing easier.  The end result, is an end to end fulfillment service for sellers; eBay Managed Delivery.  Continuing with this line of thought, the pilot program was tested, in the United States of America.  David DiBartolomeo works at Select Tech.  Additionally, Select Tech participated in the pilot program.  Through a press statement, Mr. DiBartolomeo said the following.  “eBay’s fulfillment pilot has made it easier and faster to get our products in the hands of customers.  Today, shoppers are looking for fast and free delivery and this new service has allowed us to increase customer satisfaction while simplifying our business and saving money at the same time.”

          Returning to, eBay Managed Delivery, the aforementioned is a cost effective order fulfillment service.  An increased delivery speed or time, along with, a shipping process that is more reliable; is the planned and desired, outcome.  Post successful outcome, eBay shoppers in the United States of America, will be able to get millions of products in a more convenient manner.  In regards to the sellers, it is hoped that high volume inventory sellers, will be ecstatic about eBay Managed Delivery.  An increase in consumer’s expectations, an increase in consumer’s satisfaction, reduced costs and reduced complexity are the reasons why; an eBay seller would feel ecstatic.  Technically and how things are going to work, eBay, Inc. will be the power source for eBay Managed Delivery.  The latter; is going to be made possible through a global technology platform, and, third party partners.  The third party partners; specifically, will be in charge of the actual operations.  Storage, packaging, shipping and logistics are or will be the operations.  Additionally, the third party partners will allow sellers to leave inventory in storage, in locations that, are closer to their buyers or shoppers.  Through the operations; a seamless end to end fulfillment service, and, process for eBay sellers is the desired outcome.  In turn free shipping, is something that sellers will be able to, give to their customers or buyers.  Furthermore, free shipping and faster delivery are two factors that, are expected to contribute to more sales on eBay.com.  As previously said; sellers will be able to work in conjunction with other online platforms that make online selling, or, internet retailing easier.  A good example, is Seller Hub.

Wenig is the President and the Chief Executive Officer of eBay, Inc.  Through a press statement, Mr. Wenig said the following.  “A common request we hear from our high-velocity sellers is to help make delivery of high-volume items easy and fast.  Managed Delivery will be a competitively-priced logistics solution for businesses selling high-volume goods in popular categories like electronics, home and garden, and fashion.  The implementation of this service will dramatically lessen the shipping burden on sellers, while improving the shopping experience and making unboxing fun for buyers.”  As previously stated, eBay, Inc. recently announced that, it has further developed its own online retail platform.  Specifically, the aforementioned business revealed that, it is set and ready to launch; eBay Managed Delivery.  The latter, is expected to start business operations, sometime next year.  For now, the pilot program has proven to be successful.  Lastly, eBay Managed Delivery is a cost effective fulfillment service.  A faster delivery time, is the expected outcome.
