Exit Courtyard San Francisco Downtown; Enter The Clancy

          In January 2020, The Clancy, opens to the general public in the City of San Francisco’s South of Market District (SOMA).  The previous, is a large neighborhood that, is made up of several sub-neighborhoods.  In particular, the South of Market District, is the home to several of San Francisco’s museums.  However and returning to, Courtyard San Francisco Downtown.  This particular hotel, Courtyard San Francisco Downtown, does check-in at 4:00 pm.  Additionally, check-out is at 11:00 am.  This hotel; is also considered to be the type of hotel that has bus, RV and truck parking.  Additionally; the parking fee is $70 USD for a day, the enhanced high speed internet fee for a day is $6.95 USD and this hotel does have an indoor swimming pool.  The Courtyard San Francisco Downtown, is located on 299 2nd Street, San Francisco, CA 94105.  The telephone number is (415) 947-0700.  The website is www.marriott.com.

          Returning to, The Clancy, the aforementioned will be part of Marriott International’s Autograph Collection of Hotels.  The latter, is a very unique and diverse portfolio of approximately, 180 independent hotels around the world.  The goal for the members of the Autograph Collection; is a hotel property that reflects a unique vision, design and environment.  In order, to undertake the transformation into an Autograph Collection hotel, the Courtyard San Francisco Downtown is initiating the following two things.  To start and the first thing; it is being re-branded, and, renovated.  The end result, will be the new The Clancy, as previously said.  The second thing, everything has a cost of about, $30 million USD.

          After the $30 million dollars and the opening to the general public, The Clancy, will be best characterized in the following way.  A contemporarily and elegantly re-designed hotel that, is focused on art and innovation is how; The Clancy will be characterized.  Specific features will include; 410 hotel guestrooms, spacious public spaces, a two sided lobby bar and a series of locally handcrafted events.  For the series of locally handcrafted events, the idea is a highlight of San Francisco’s South of Market District (SOMA).  Helping with this idea, is almost 10,000 ft² of flexible meeting space.  The meeting space, is across 16 meeting rooms.  These 16 meeting rooms are best described as intimate boardrooms, and/or, spacious conference halls.
