(Los Angeles, CA) Larry Vanderveen had previously contemplated, a fiction book or novel. However, his literary creativity took him to another place. This place is best characterized by a one man play, and, two short stories. The one man play is entitled, Meeting F. Scott Fitzgerald. For his one man play, Larry Vanderveen, attempted to write his life’s story, as if it was an exploration of the great author; F. Scott Fitzgerald. His two short stories are; At the Waterfall, and, The Suit. The former, is a story about an old man. Additionally, this old man attempts to build up the self-esteem and self-confidence, of a young girl. The latter, is a story about a salesman. This salesman travels to the big city, in a new business suit. Recently, Larry Vanderveen announced that, he has returned to a place where a novel can be written from. Specifically, the aforementioned author revealed that, he has released a fiction book. The fiction book or novel is entitled, In Heaven for Awhile. In, In Heaven for Awhile, Mr. Vanderveen takes the reader to Heaven through a high school teacher.

The high school teacher, who takes the reader to Heaven, is how Larry Vanderveen wants to spark thoughts. These thoughts that, have been roused up, are hoped to produce inspiration. The inspiration that is derived from thought, is how the story of a high school teacher becomes an uplifting story. As an uplifting story, In Heaven for Awhile, it contains the following elements. The elements are science fiction, a touch of believable fantasy and the notion of exciting possibility.

The brief synopsis of the fiction book or novel, In Heaven for Awhile, is as follows. Jim Bentley lives in the City of Los Angeles; California U.S.A. He also teaches astronomy at the high school. He lives alone, and, in a lonely state. Fortunately, all of these things change one day. To his surprise, Jim Bentley discovers that, he is needed. It results that, the people in his life, have a lot of problems. Additionally, these people can’t solve their own problems. Out of nowhere, Jim Bentley ends up in Heaven. From Heaven, Jim Bentley is able to help the people in his life. Oddly enough, Heaven proves to be the best and only place, where these things are possible.

To end, Larry Vanderveen is 85 years old. Additionally, he is a native of the State of California. As previously said, In Heaven for Awhile, is his first novel. He did release a press statement.
