Michal Welles Releases a Non-Fiction Book

(Costa Mesa, CA) Charles Milles Manson was born on November 12th, 1934.  Additionally, he died on November 19th, 2017.  On this date; he was 83 years old, and, he was serving a life sentence at California State Prison Corcoran.  Even though the accounts of his life can be quickly summarized and verbally said, there isn’t really a lot of information; truth be told.  The simple truth is, he is tattooed with a swastika in between his eyebrows.  Obviously, he is also one of the U.S.A.’s most notorious cult leaders.  In the middle of the year 1967, he formed his cult; the Manson Family.  During the summer of the year 1969, members of the Manson Family executed nine murder attacks, at four separate locations.  The latter occurred, in the area of the City of Los Angeles, California U.S.A.  Recently, Michal Welles announced that, she is very familiar with Charles Manson and his life’s story.  Specifically, the aforementioned author revealed that, she has released a non-fiction book.  The non-fiction book is entitled, Manson and Me:  The Human Side of Charles Manson.  In, Manson and Me:  The Human Side of Charles Manson, Ms./Mrs. Welles attempts to explore the man.  Furthermore, the exploration is done outside of the mainstream media.

The exploration that is conducted outside of the mainstream media, of Charles Manson, is according to Michal Welles.  Additionally, it is an effort to present an intimate look, 50 years after the Tate/LaBianca murders.  However and returning to, Charles Manson, the aforementioned person was convicted of first degree murder.  Additionally, he was also convicted of conspiracy to commit murder.  For this charge, the deaths of seven people are cited.  What is highly debated, is that Charles Manson never actually ordered the murders.  Instead, the Los Angeles County Prosecutor argued that, his ideology constituted an overt act of conspiracy.  The first degree murder conviction; is for the deaths of Gary Hinman, and, Donald Shea.  It is reported that, his height was 5 feet and 2 inches.  What is strange, is that during this time, he was part of the City of Los Angeles’s music scene.  In fact; he was a singer, and, a songwriter.  Coincidentally, one of the songs that he wrote and subsequently recorded is, Never Learn Not to Love.  This song was released by the Beach Boys, in the year 1968; interestingly enough.

Returning to, Manson and Me:  The Human Side of Charles Manson; the aforementioned is based on a friendship that, Michal Welles developed more than 20 years ago.  Everything stems from a simple question, Is there more to this man?  After this previously posed simple question, is an insider’s perspective of Charles Manson.  The insider’s perspective is presented to the reader as stories, poems, pictures, artwork, songs and other types of examples.  As context, for the insider’s perspective, are interviews.  The interviews or people who were interviewed include ex-cell mates, followers and close friends.  Ultimately and through, Manson and Me:  The Human Side of Charles Manson; Michal Welles hopes that an anthology of Charles Manson, has been written.

To end and currently, Michal Welles lives in the Country of Israel.  She has two daughters.  Ms./Mrs. Welles befriended Charles Manson, the prison inmate, and maintained that friendship for more than 20 years.  Throughout this time, she believes that, she was a witness to the real nature of the famous enigmatic criminal.  Michal Welles did release a press statement.  Through a press statement, Ms./Mrs. Welles said the following.  “What impressed me was the victim, rather than the monster; and I was not touched by an angry man of violence and hate, but rather by the frightened boy who needed love yet got only punishment and abuse.”  As previously stated, Michal Welles recently announced that, she is very familiar with Charles Manson and his life’s story. Lastly, the exploration is an effort to present an intimate look, 50 years after the Tate/LaBianca murders.
