The Oracle Challenger Series Announces the First Two Tournament Events of the 2019-20 Season

(Redwood Shores, CA) The Oracle Challenger Series, is how the Oracle Corporation, shows support for tennis in the United States of America.  The series is defined by a tournament event format that; is also paired with the ATP Challenger Tour, and, the WTA 125K Series.  ATP is the acronym for the Association of Tennis Professionals.  WTA is the acronym for the Women’s Tennis Association.  Currently, the top five ATP tennis players according to points ranking are, the following men tennis players.  Taylor Fritz (125), Bradley Klahn (125), Donald Young, Jr. (80), Reilly Opelka (75) and Roy Smith (75) are the top five ATP tennis players.  Additionally, the top five WTA tennis players according to points ranking are, the following women tennis players.  Jessica Pegula (167), Lauren Davis (154), Jennifer Brady (95), Sachia Vickery (73) and Nicole Gibbs (73) are the top five WTA tennis players.  Recently, the Oracle Corporation announced that, the Oracle Challenger Series is rapidly approaching.  Specifically, the aforementioned business revealed that, the first two tournament events of the 2019-20 Season have been finalized.  The first tournament event, is all set and ready for September 2nd to the 8th, 2019.  The second tournament event, is all set and ready for November 10th to the 17th, 2019.

          The second tournament event, will be held at Rice University, on November 10th to the 17th, 2019.  The event venue will be the George R. Brown Tennis Center in Houston Texas, U.S.A.  The first tournament event, will be held at Yale University, on September 2nd to the 8th, 2019.  The event venue will be the Yale Tennis Center in New Haven Connecticut, U.S.A.  However and returning to; the Oracle Challenger Series, the aforementioned was established, to be able to, provide support for aspiring American professional tennis players.  The Oracle Challenger Series was created in conjunction with the ATP, and, WTA.  This collaborative effort, is now entering its third year.  The overall idea; is to help American tennis players secure rank points, and, prize money.  For the most part, American collegiate and professional tennis players participate, in the Oracle Challenger Series.  There are four tournament events in total.  The BNP Paribas Open is the final, and, culminating tournament event.  The total amount of prize money that is available is, $162,000 USD.  The previous; is one set for men, and, one set for women.  Therefore and overall, the Oracle Corporation pays out each season, $324,000 USD.  Forty eight singles players, are permitted to compete in each tournament event.  For doubles, 16 doubles teams are permitted to compete in each tournament event.  Finally; the Oracle U.S. Tennis Awards gives two $100,000 USD grants to one man collegiate tennis athlete, and, one woman collegiate tennis athlete.

          To end, the Oracle Corporation (NYSE:  ORCL) also sponsors or hosts the following tennis events.  The 2019 Oracle ITA Masters, and, the 2019 Oracle ITA National Fall Championships are sponsored by the Oracle Corporation.  Additionally, the former will be held from September 26th to the 29th, 2019, in Malibu California.  The previous, will be held from November 6th to the 10th, 2019, in Newport Beach California.  The Oracle Corporation did release a press statement.  Mark Hurd is the Chief Executive Officer of the Oracle Corporation.  Through a press statement, Mr. Hurd said the following.  “We created the Oracle Challenger Series to grow the game nationally and support American tennis players as they work through the professional ranks.  Events in Connecticut and Houston will continue to drive visibility for the sports and enable even more fans to experience these incredible tournaments.”  As previously stated, the Oracle Corporation recently announced that, the Oracle Challenger Series is rapidly approaching.  Specifically, the aforementioned business revealed that, the first two tournament events of the 2019-20 Season have been finalized.  The first tournament event, is all set and ready for September 2nd to the 8th, 2019.  Lastly, the second tournament event, is all set and ready for November 10th to the 17th, 2019.
