Capella Space Agrees to a Deal with Singapore’s Addvalue and the UK’s Inmarsat

(San Francisco, CA) In the Country of Singapore, Addvalue Innovation, Pte Ltd. is a completely owned subsidiary of, Addvalue Technologies, Ltd.  Additionally, it is respectfully known for being an innovator of products.  The products are usually under the digital, wireless and broadband communications category.  In turn, these products are made available through; satellite based communication terminals, I.P. based data applications and marine communication terminals.  In the UK/Britain, Inmarsat plc is a provider of global mobile satellite communication services.  The previous, is then divided into a wide range of services.  These services can be used on land, sea and air.  Additionally; governments, businesses and organizations use these voice and high speed data communication services.  Recently; Capella Space announced that, it is familiar with Addvalue Innovation, Pte Ltd., and, Inmarsat plc.  Specifically, the aforementioned business revealed that, it has agreed to a business deal with both businesses.  The business deal is divided into two parts.  The first part, is with Addvalue Innovation, Pte Ltd.  The second part, is with Inmarsat plc.  Combined, the deal is for the use of Capella’s Inter-Satellite Data Relay System (I.D.R.S.).

          Capella’s Inter-Satellite Data Relay System (I.D.R.S.); through, the combination of the two parts of the deal, will enable real-time responsiveness.  The real-time responsiveness is for synthetic aperture radar (S.A.R.) operations.  The S.A.R. information is obtained from Capella’s micro-satellites.  However and returning to, Capella Space, the aforementioned is a space and satellite centered business.  To the public or other types of businesses, this business provides information services.  For the most part, the services are centered on, on-demand observation imagery of the Planet Earth.  Capella Space is respectfully recognized for being the proprietor, of its own space technologies; incidentally.  The previously said, includes high resolution synthetic aperture radar satellites (S.A.R.).  These micro-satellites are in orbit, and, as part of a proprietary satellite constellation.

          Returning to; the revealed business deal, the aforementioned and as previously said, is divided into two parts.  The first part, is with Addvalue Innovation, Pte Ltd.  The second part, is with Inmarsat plc.  Combined, the deal is for the use of Capella’s Inter-Satellite Data Relay System (I.D.R.S.).  The use will be through, Inmarsat’s Global L-Band Satellite Communications Network.  This satellite network that belongs to Inmarsat plc (LSE:  ISAT), provides satellite uplink and downlink services.  As a result; Capella’s proprietary satellite constellation will be able to be accessed, from any location in the world, and, in real time.  In turn; Addvalue Innovation, Pte Ltd. will be able to use its satellite based communication terminals, through, Inmarsat’s Global L-Band Satellite Communications Network.  Capella Space will permit constant contact, with its Inter-Satellite Data Relay System (I.D.R.S.).  For the most part, Addvalue Innovation, Pte Ltd. expressed that, it plans to order and receive high resolution S.A.R. images.  In order to complete this process, Inmarsat plc will provide a secured and fast, I.P. based connection.  The previously said; will be made possible, through, a web or internet application.  Lastly, this business deal is somewhat revolutionary.  Normally and for Low Earth Orbit (L.E.O.) satellites; ground based operators or ground stations, have to wait until the solitary satellite actually passes by, to be able to, connect to it.  Now, the entire process should take about eight hours.

          Dr. Colin Chan is the Chairman and the Chief Executive Officer of Addvalue Innovation, Pte Ltd.  Through a press statement, Dr. Chan said the following.  “The unrivaled communications capability of IDRS will significantly improve the operational efficiency of Capella’s multi-satellite constellation.  This contract reaffirms the unique value of IDRS, and we strongly believe IDRS will continue to disrupt the way future commercial, governmental as well as research low Earth orbit satellite constellations are operated.  We are fully committed to ensuring its successful delivery as we continue to grow our IDRS customer base.”

          Todd McDonell is the President of Global Government at Inmarsat plc.  Through a press statement, Mr. McDonnell said the following.  “Inmarsat has been leading the world in mobile satellite communications for 40 years.  Our reliability across air, land and sea has been proven across multiple satellite fleet generations, and we are delighted to be delivering this same reliable service to help operators such as Capella manage their spacecraft in real-time.”  Todd McDonell also said.  “Access to Inmarsat’s global network provides Capella with a unique proposition in terms of both service delivery and fleet management.  This adoption of IDRS technology shows that Capella is leading the way in delivering timely and reliable Synthetic Aperture Radar imagery, providing substantial value to a broad range of commercial and government organizations around the world.”
