Epson America, Inc. Launches New Generation of Blu-ray Discproducer Products

(Long Beach, CA) The Blu-ray Disc was officially developed by the Sony Corp.  Additionally, the Blu-ray Disc Association is also credited, with the development of the Blu-ray Disc.  Furthermore, it was first released on June 20, 2006.  Primarily, it is a digital optical disc data storage format.  The purpose was to surpass, the DVD format.  The defining feature is that; it is capable of several hours of video resolution in high definition, and, ultra high definition.  The former; is defined as HD 720p, and, 1080p.  The latter, is defined as UHD 2160p.  Recently; Epson America, Inc. announced that, it has improved the ability to read and write, the Blu-ray format.  Specifically, the aforementioned business revealed that, it has launched a new generation of Blu-ray Discproducer Products.  The aforementioned products are capable of reading, writing and printing Blu-ray Discs, DVDs and CDs.  Technically, the discproducer products are named; the Epson Discproducer PP-50II, and, the Epson Discproducer PP-100III.  The end result; is an industry leading and cost effective solution to the publishing and printing of Blu-ray Discs, DVDs and CDs.

          These cost effective Blu-ray Discs, DVDs and CDs; coincidentally, are published and printed on the same device.  The devices are the Epson Discproducer PP-50II, and, the Epson Discproducer PP-100III.  However and returning to; the Blu-ray Disc, the aforementioned is primarily used for feature films, and, video games.  In actuality, the name is a reference to the blue like, violet laser that is used to read the disc.  This blue like violet laser, in turn, allows more information to be put into storage; in a very dense manner.  The greater density is possible, because, the laser wavelength performs in a superior manner.  The superiority is in reference to, the red laser that, is used for DVD discs.  The actual plastic disc is 120 millimeters in diameter, and, 1.2 millimeters in thickness.  The aforementioned dimensions are the same for DVD discs, and, CDs.  The Blu-ray Disc is set apart by a layers concept.  For example, one layer is capable of a 25 GB storage capacity.  A dual layer disc is capable of a 50 GB storage capacity.  A triple layer disc is capable of a 100 GB storage capacity.  Finally, a quadruple layer disc is capable of a 128 GB storage capacity.

          Returning to, the new generation of Epson discproducer products, the aforementioned in actuality are successors.  Yes indeed successors, and, the predecessors are as follows.  The Epson Discproducer PP-50, and, the Epson Discproducer PP-50BD are the predecessors of the Epson Discproducer PP50II.  Meanwhile; the Epson Discproducer PP-10II, and, the Discproducer PP-100IIBD are the predecessors of the Epson Discproducer PP-100III.  Overall, these new discproducers are a robotics and printing marvel.  They are also capable of unattended production of multiple types of discs.  Capable of unattended production of several copies, is also part, of the previously stated.  Helping with the printing side, is the Epson Micro Piezo inkjet technology.  The latter, is also helped by six individual ink cartridges.  The end result, is crisp text and vibrant graphics that, are printed on Blu-ray discs.
