Victoria’s Secret Angels Stay Busy; September 2019

(New York City, NY) For Love & Lemons; is a premiere clothes, or, fashion brand.  Unapologetically, it states that it is exclusively, for women.  In particular; a woman who is not afraid to take risks, embrace a little bit of adventure and pave her own way.  As part of this idea, For Love & Lemons, offers the following five clothing lines.  The clothing lines are ready to wear, lingerie, knitwear, swim and little lemons.  Through all five clothing lines, the aforementioned fashion brand, attempts to inspire women.  This inspiration, in turn, is meant to help women embrace; their own unique features.  It is hoped that this type of inspiration, carries through, to all aspects of life.  Interestingly, this fashion brand was launched in the year, 2011.  The founders are Laura Hall, and, Gillian Rose Kern.  Recently; Victoria’s Secret announced that, the month of September 2019, was a busy month.  Specifically, the aforementioned fashion brand revealed that, it completed two important things.  These two things are; it launched an exclusive lingerie collection with For Love & Lemons, and, it participated in its own Pelotonia fundraiser bicycle ride event.  Both announced things or collaborations, involved the world famous, Victoria’s Secret Angels.

The Victoria’s Secret Angels, did indeed participate in; the launch of an exclusive lingerie collection with For Love & Lemons, and, participated in Victoria’s Secret’s own Pelotonia fundraiser bicycle ride event.  However and returning to; Pelotonia, the aforementioned organization’s name is based on the cycling term, peloton.  Specifically; Pelotonia is a 501 c-3 non-profit organization, and, a fundraiser bicycle ride.  The location of the bicycle ride is Columbus, Ohio U.S.A.  The goal is to raise funds for cancer research.  The cancer research institution is, the Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center-James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute.  The bicycle event format, is based on a participant registering for, one of several possible distances.  The distances have an overall range of 25 to 180 miles.  Simultaneously, there are mandatory minimum fundraising goals that, go step by step with the distances.  Once the distance enters the 100 miles distance, the fundraiser bicycle ride becomes a two day event.  Fascinatingly, the participant is held responsible for the pledged donation.  A group of participants can register together, in order, to meet the fundraising obligation.  Pelotonia calls this group, a peloton or a super peloton, depending on size.  The previously mentioned idea, is based on, the cycling term peloton.

Returning to, Victoria’s Secret’s collaboration with For Love & Lemons, the aforementioned is based on exclusivity.  The previous, makes Victoria’s Secret, an exclusive third party retailer.  Therefore, Victoriassecret.com and select Victoria’s Secret store locations, will carry a unique lingerie collection.  The select stores are located in the United States of America, and, the United Kingdom/Britain.  Additionally, two store locations will take the collaboration, one step further.  The two stores are the New York City Fifth Avenue store, and, the London New Bond Street store.  The one step further, is an in-store experience that was designed by For Love & Lemons.  The idea of the in-store experience is a For Love & Lemons shop, inside a shop.  For the marketing campaign, the following models were chosen.  Solange Van Doorn, Grace Elizabeth, Winnie Harlow, Hailey Clausen and Jasmine Saunders are the chosen models.  Obviously, Grace Elizabeth is a Victoria’s Secret Angel.  The official celebration of the launch, was an intimate luncheon.  Laura Hall, Gillian Rose Kern and Devon Lee Carlson were in attendance.

Returning to, Victoria’s Secret’s own Pelotonia fundraiser bicycle ride event, the aforementioned does have a name.  The official name is, Victoria’s Secret Angel Cycle to End Cancer.  For the aforementioned, Victoria’s Secret partnered with Flywheel Sports in New York City.  Additionally, Victoria’s Secret Angel Cycle to End Cancer was held on September 18th, 2019.  One hundred percent of the proceeds were donated to the non-profit organization, Pelotonia.  Then, the L Brands Foundation matched, one hundred percent of the donations.  Representing the Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center-James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute, was Dr. Rosa Lapalombella.  Perhaps more importantly; the Victoria’s Secret Angels who participated are Josephine Skriver, Martha Hunt, Alexina Graham, Chey Carty, Gizele Oliveira, Josie Conseco, Lorena Duran and Sofie Rovenstine.

To end, L Brands, Inc. (NYSE:  LB) owns Victoria’s Secret.  Additionally, it did release press statements.  Dr. Rosa Lapalombella is an Associate Professor of Medicine.  The university is the Ohio State University.  Additionally, she is the Assistant Director of Basic Research, Department of Hematology at Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center-James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute.  Through a press statement, Dr. Lapalombella said the following.  Being in the room with so many amazing women brought together by Victoria’s Secret, all supporting our One Goal, was truly inspiring.  I’m headed back to my lab at The James more motivated than ever to continue working on research that will improve the lives and treatment options for individuals affected by leukemia.”  Josephine Skriver is a Victoria’s Secret Angel.  Through a press statement, Ms./Mrs. Skriver said the following.  I have a few friends that have cancer right now so I’m riding for them and I’m so happy to support Pelotonia, The James & the fight to end cancer.”  As previously stated; Victoria’s Secret recently announced that, the month of September 2019, was a busy month. Lastly, it turns out that, the Victoria’s Secret Angels stayed busy during September 2019.
