(Paso Robles, CA) Martin Resorts, Inc. as the
owner of boutique hotels, attempts a Highway 1 lodging concept. First, Highway 1 is a reference about a California highway that travels north and south, along
the state’s coastline. Interestingly, it
is also the famed Pacific Coast Highway.
Second, and in order to accomplish the concept; the aforementioned
business stays loyal, to the Central Coast Region of the State of California.
After having remained loyal, Martin Resorts, Inc. stays true to the
definition, of a boutique hotel. Therefore,
it is the owner of the following luxury boutique hotels. The luxury boutique hotels are; Avila
Lighthouse Suites, Pismo Lighthouse Suites, Shore Cliff Hotel and Paso Robles Inn. Recently, Martin Resorts, Inc. announced
that, there is one more hotel that goes on that list. Additionally, it was recently added. Specifically, the aforementioned business

Paso Robles, California U.S.A., community.
On
October 16th, 2019 The Piccolo became part of the Paso Robles, California U.S.A. community;
when it first opened its doors to the general public. The opening was greeted with a lot of
enthusiasm. This is due to the fact
that, the City of Paso Robles is part of the Central Coast’s wine country. Additionally, demand is high for authentic
boutique and luxurious; wine country hotel guestroom accommodations. Continuing with this line of thought,
fascinatingly The Piccolo is a community project. What this means is that; local artisans,
craftsmen and creators helped to make The Piccolo a reality. Their contributions were the passion that was
poured into, unique projects. Interestingly,
Martin Resorts, Inc. calls these people, Meet the Makers. The idea of Meet the Makers, was a fabric for
the new home that is, The Piccolo. The
makers are: Hans Duus a blacksmith;
Hennessy Christophel & Sofia Lacin from LC Studio Tutto; Janine Stone from
If You Give a Girl a Saw; Julia Oberhoff & Jim Duffy from Ten Over Studio;
Krobar Craft Distillery; Lauren Dunn from Dunn Gardens & Pepe Sanchez
Deadwood Revival; Margaret Johnson from Martin Resorts, Inc.; Re:find
Handcrafted Spirits and Wes Stallman, Jeff Martin and Kirk Wheeler from
Specialty Construction.
Overall,
The Piccolo is highlighted by two things; the building, and, the hotel
guestrooms. The building has a brick
exterior, and, a modern interior. The
building was designed by Ten Over Studio.
Additionally; it is more than 17,000 ft², it is four stories tall and it
has communal spaces. This building is
completely wired with fiber optics.
Therefore, it is ready for Wi-Fi, mobile check-in, keyless entry and
streaming services. The hotel guestrooms
are designed to invoke, an urban loft.
Therefore, there are high tray ceilings, wide planked dark wooden floors
and brick accented walls. In an effort
to complement the urban loft feeling; there are 23 luxury king rooms, and, a
V.I.P. two room suite. The latter, is
named The Somm Suite, and, it is accentuated by floor to ceiling windows.
This particular hotel, The Piccolo,
does check-in at 4:00 pm. Additionally, check-out is at 12:00 pm.
This hotel; is also considered to be the type of hotel that has free
self-parking, has valet parking for $25 USD a night, has 3 bars/lounges and has
soundproofed hotel guestrooms.
