founders, of Ama Waterways.
Additionally, the year 2002 is when Ama Waterways was founded. As a luxury river cruise line, it operates
river cruises in three continents of the world.
However, the river cruises in Western Europe
are the most popular, and, coveted.
Discerning travelers are always intrigued by the river cruise experience
of the Danube River, Rhine River, Main River, Mosel River and Rhone River.
Unbeknownst to most people, the founding of Ama Waterways, is also,
inspired by the completion of the Rhine-Main-Danube Canal. The
latter, was completed in the year, 1992.
As a result, the Rhine-Main-Danube Canal connected the North Sea, with, the Black Sea.
Then, the idea of long distance river cruising, quickly inspired, Rudi
Schreiner. Recently, Ama Waterways
announced that, the 2021 river cruise season has arrived. Specifically; the aforementioned business revealed
that, the Ama Waterways 2021 river cruise season is now open, for
reservations. Additionally, the 2021
river cruise season is highlighted by the addition of a new river boat, and,
the addition of four European itineraries.
The
addition of four European itineraries, and, the addition of a new river boat as
part of the 2021 river cruise season; continues Ama Waterways’ tradition. The latter, is a tradition of being
innovative and excellent, when it comes to long distance river cruises. However and returning to; Ama
Waterways, the aforementioned river cruise line is centered on, its fleet of
river boats. For this effort, all of the
river boats are high quality in nature, and, they provide the following. Locally sourced food, locally sourced wine, elegantly
furnished staterooms, a design that creates maximum views and the river boat’s
crew are all provided; by the actual Ama Waterways river boat. Additionally, the Ama Waterways river boats
do have a signature. The signature is
twin balconies. Specifically, the twin
balconies are a French balcony, and, an outside balcony. Overall, the Ama Waterways river boats are
highlighted by the Chef’s Table; the onboard specialty restaurant.
Returning to; the addition of a new
river boat, the aforementioned and as previously said, is part of the Ama
Waterways 2021 river cruise season. The
river boat is named, the Ama Lucia. The
Ama Lucia, will be joining Ama Waterways’ European fleet. It is a 156 passenger or guest river boat,
which still has the signature balconies.
The Chef’s Table, a specialty restaurant, still highlights the luxurious
amenities. The Ama Lucia will start
performing initial duty on March 16th,
2021. The initial duty is
sailing, on the Tulip Time river cruises.
After the initial duty; regular duty begins on the Danube
River, Rhine
River, Main
River and the Moselle
River. As a result of the addition of the Ama Lucia,
Ama Waterways will be moving the other river boats around. The Ama Kristina, will be moving to perform
duty on the Rhone River. The Ama Dante, will be moving to perform duty
on the Seine River. The Ama Cello, will be moving to perform duty
on the Rhone River,
and, the Saone River. Finally, the Ama Bella and the Ama Verde;
will be moving to perform duty on the Dutch Waterways, the Belgian Waterways
and the Danube River.
Returning to; the addition of four
European itineraries, the aforementioned and as previously said, are parts of
the Ama Waterways 2021 river cruise season.
All four European itineraries are seven night river cruise
itineraries. Additionally, they each
have an extra pre-cruise land program, or, a post-cruise land program. The new four European itineraries are
Impressions of the Seine & Paris, Essence of Burgundy
& Provence, Rhine Castles
& Swiss Alps and Best of Holland & Belgium. The Impressions of the Seine & Paris is
on the Ama Dante, and, it is from Paris
to Le Havre. This river cruise is of Northern
France. Additionally, there
is a pre-cruise land program, and, a post-cruise land program. The pre-cruise land program is, two nights in
Paris. The post-cruise land program is three nights
in St. Malo, with, one night in Paris. The Essence of Burgundy
& Provence is on the Ama
Cello, and, it is from Chalon-sur-Saone
to Arles. This river cruise is of romantic cities, and,
centers of art. Additionally, there is a
pre-cruise land program, and, a post-cruise land program. The pre-cruise land program is, three nights
in Geneva Switzerland. The post-cruise land program is, three nights
in Barcelona Spain. The Rhine Castles & Swiss Alps is on the
Ama Mora, and, the Ama Serena. This
river cruise travels from Amsterdam
to Basel, and, it highlights
charming vineyards that are on the hills.
Additionally, there is a pre-cruise land program, and, a post-cruise
land program. The pre-cruise land
program is, two nights in Amsterdam
Netherlands. The post-cruise land program is, three nights
in Lake Como Italy. The Best of Holland & Belgium is on the
Ama Serena, and, it is a round trip river cruise that starts and ends in Amsterdam. This river cruise travels to Utrecht
and Dordrecht. Additionally, there is a pre-cruise land
program, and, a post-cruise land program.
The pre-cruise land program is, two nights in Amsterdam
Netherlands. The post-cruise land program is, two nights
in Amsterdam Netherlands.
