Canada’s Bell Media Reveals Deal with Warner Bros. International Television Distribution


(Toronto, Canada and Los Angeles, CA) In the Country of Canada; Bell Media is part of BCE, Inc. (NYSE:  BCE and TSX:  BCE).  Specifically, Bell Media is a premier content creation media company.  The media side of this business involves television, radio, out of home advertising, digital media and other types.  In order to accomplish this effort, it owns and operates 30 local television stations.  On top of these 30 local television stations, Bell Media owns the CTV Television Network.  The latter, is one of Canada’s most important, conventional television networks.  Additionally, Bell Media owns 29 specialty channels.  One of these 29 specialty channels is Crave.  For the most part, Crave is an internet based subscription video on demand service.  Recently, Bell Media announced that, H.B.O. Max is always coveted video content.  Specifically, the aforementioned business revealed that, it has signed a long term deal with Warner Bros. International Television Distribution.  The long term deal is for H.B.O. Max’s original television programming, made available to Crave’s Canadian viewing audience.  Additionally, the deal starts in the year 2020.
            In the year 2020, Crave’s Canadian viewing audience, will have access to H.B.O. Max’s original television programming.  Additionally, the exclusive long term deal is the first for H.B.O. Max’s programming, outside the United States of America.  Robert Greenblatt is the Chairman of Warner Media, LLC.  Through a press statement, Mr. Greenblatt said the following.  “Bell Media has been an important partner with its channels and platforms bringing HBO originals to viewers in Canada for many years.  It is only fitting we are not only extending this relationship but also deepening it to include great new series produced for HBO Max.”  Jeffrey Schlesinger is the President of Warner Bros. Worldwide Television Distribution.  Through a press statement, Mr. Schlesinger said the following.  “Bell Media has been a long-term and strategic partner for both Warner Bros. and HBO.  It is only logical for us to expand the relationship by adding the upcoming original programming from HBO Max as well as extend the successful relationship covering our feature films, network series, and cable programming.  All of this together makes Bell Media a great Canadian home for all of these assets from WarnerMedia.”
            However and returning to; Crave, the aforementioned and as previously said, is primarily an internet based subscription video on demand service.  Therefore, it is available as an Apple iOS app, and, as a Google Android app.  Additionally, Crave can be found in six Canadian linear channels, and, in on-demand channels.  In the Country of Canada; it is known and popular, because, it shows the most entertaining programming.  The programming includes the American H.B.O., Showtime and Starz.  Additionally, and in reference to H.B.O., Crave is the official home of H.B.O. in Canada.  Furthermore, the H.B.O. programming on Crave also includes the H.B.O. content that, is currently not being broadcasted.
            Returning to, the exclusive long term deal, the aforementioned is for television content along with feature films.  As previously said, it is the first for H.B.O. Max’s programming, outside the United States of America.  Overall, this exclusive long term deal is highlighted by, television series.  Beginning in the year 2020, the following television series, will be available to the Canadian viewing audience.  The television series are Gossip Girl, The Flight Attendant, Dune:  The Sisterhood and College Girl.  Included in this deal, are future television series.  The future television series are Green Lantern, Strange Adventures, DMZ, Crime Farm, Red Bird Lane, Rules of Magic, The Shelley Society, Tooned Out and DC Super Hero High. 
            Continuing with; Warner Bros. International Television Distribution, the aforementioned is part of Warner Bros. Television Group, and, Warner Media, LLC.  Incidentally, it is also part of CBS Television Studios.  Specifically, Warner Bros. International Television Distribution is a distributor of feature films, television programs and animated television programming.  The intended marketplace, is the international television marketplace; broadcast television, pay cable television, basic cable television, satellite, pay per view, subscription, subscription video on demand and digital platforms.  Primarily, the distributed video content is licensed video content from Warner Bros., H.B.O. and Turner.  It is estimated that, Warner Bros. International Television Distribution distributes more than 61,000 hours of video content. 
            To end, Bell Media did release a press statement.  Randy Lennox is the President of Bell Media.  Through a press statement, Mr. Lennox said the following.  “As we approach the one-year anniversary of the all-new Crave, we’re more committed than ever to ensure ongoing access to the highest caliber content.  With this new HBO Max agreement, we are expanding our long and successful partnership with HBO and Warner Bros. and demonstrating this commitment to premium content in an era of increasing competition.”  As previously stated, Bell Media recently announced that, H.B.O. Max is always coveted video content.  Specifically, the aforementioned business revealed that, it has signed a long term deal with Warner Bros. International Television Distribution.  The long term deal is for H.B.O. Max’s original television programming, made available to Crave’s Canadian viewing audience.  Lastly and additionally, the deal starts in the year 2020.
