Particle.io Secures $40 Million USD in a Series C Funding Round


(San Francisco, CA) Currently, Particle or Particle.io reports that, the following businesses are business clients.  The businesses are Jacuzzi, Continental Tires, Watsco, Shifted Energy, Anderson EV and Opti.  All of the aforementioned businesses are building up, due to innovation.  As far as Particle or Particle.io is concerned, its role is being an end to end internet of things (IoT) platform.  Technically, it is an enterprise level or caliber platform that combines software, hardware and connectivity.  Additionally; everything is done as an integrated technology solution that guarantees that business clients’ IoT products are reliable, scalable and secure.  Recently, Particle or Particle.io announced that, it desires to drive an IoT adoption.  Specifically, the aforementioned business revealed that, it has secured $40 million USD in a Series C funding round.  Overall, this business reports that, it has $81.3 million USD in total funds.  As part of the funding round, current investors decided to double down on their bet.  The current investors who doubled down on their bet are Root Ventures, Bonfire Ventures, Industry Ventures, Spark Capital, Green D Ventures, Counterpart Ventures and SOSV.  The most noteworthy new investors of Particle.io are Qualcomm Ventures, LLC and Energy Impact Partners.    
            Energy Impact Partners and Qualcomm Ventures, LLC as the most noteworthy new investors, will be contributing funds.  The funds will be used for the following one thing.  The one thing is the continuation of the business growth.  In reference to; the continuation of the business growth, the aforementioned is best characterized by year over year revenue, and, business contracts.  According to Particle.io, year over year revenue has increased by, 150 percent.  Additionally, the business contracts have reached the level of multiple million dollar contracts.  Furthermore, the acquisition of these multiple million dollar contracts has grown by, 300 percent.  However and returning to, Particle.io, the aforementioned business maintains five offices.  These five offices are in the City of San Francisco, the City of Las Vegas, the City of Minneapolis, the City of Boston and Shenzhen China.  As an end to end IoT platform, Particle.io is considered to be a community.  Technically, it is a community of developers that, is geared towards the IoT, sector of the economy.  Additionally, as a community of developers, it has almost 200,000 developers and engineers.  Furthermore, these developers and engineers are physically located, in 170 countries around the world.  As a result, Particle.io is the IoT platform that is behind 21.9 billion collected sensor data points; annually.  This IoT platform is also recognized, as the brain that brings online, 60,000 devices on a daily basis.  Overall; Particle’s IoT platform is best characterized as IoT hardware, connectivity, IoT device cloud and IoT apps.
