Universal Music Enterprises Commemorates the 25th Year Anniversary of the Music Album; Read My Mind (1994)

            On December 6th, 2019; MCA Nashville and Universal Music Enterprises (U.M.E.), will release a vinyl record of Reba McEntire’s Read My Mind (1994) 25th Year Anniversary Expanded Edition.  Interestingly; this is the first time, in which the aforementioned music album, will be available as a vinyl record.  Additionally, the vinyl record will be available in two versions.  The two versions are; black vinyl, and, a limited edition white vinyl.  Continuing with this line of thought, Reba McEntire’s Read My Mind (1994) 25th Year Anniversary Expanded Edition, is highlighted by the following.  It is highlighted by a special written message, from Reba McEntire.  The special message says the following.  “I love every single song on this album, and I am so proud that all these years later my fans still want to hear them in our live shows.  A lot of the songs on this record have become career-defining songs for me.  I can’t imagine doing a show now without the crowd singing along to ‘Why Haven’t I Heard from You.’  There were also songs on this record, like the AIDS message song ‘She Thinks His Name was John,’ that went beyond entertainment and hopefully affected some hearts and minds with a story that no one was talking about at the time.  I am very proud to have been able to be the conduit for these incredible songs.”

            Reba Nell McEntire is an American country music singer, songwriter and music producer.  Additionally, she is also an actress.  Her music career in country music began, in the year 1975.  This is due to the fact that, she signed a contract with Mercury Records, after having been discovered by country music artist Red Steagall.  In 1977, she released her first music album.  She remained with Mercury Records until the year, 1983.  Then and in 1984, Reba McEntire signed with MCA Nashville Records.  Currently, she is signed with Big Machine.  Since this time, Reba McEntire and due to the fact that she has released 33 music albums; has earned her nickname.  Her nickname is, “The Queen of Country.”  Fascinatingly, 28 of her 33 music albums have either been certified gold, platinum or multiple times platinum.  Additionally, she is credited with selling more than 75 million music albums, worldwide.
