In the 1970s, Rolls-Royce experienced a financial collapse. Additionally, and due to the financial
collapse, Rolls-Royce, Ltd. was nationalized.
Fascinatingly, Rolls-Royce’s RB211 jet engine, was considered to be at
the center of the problem. Therefore,
and in the year 1973, a solution to the problem was formulated. The Rolls-Royce automobile business was destined
to be sold, and, Rolls-Royce, Ltd. was to continue forward as a jet engine
manufacturer. Eventually, the year 1980,
Rolls-Royce Motors was sold to Vickers, plc.
Recently, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars announced that, it is in the middle of
worldwide growth. Specifically; the
aforementioned business revealed that, it experienced sales growth in all
regions of the world, during the year 2019.
The latter is due to the fact that, consumer demand for all Rolls-Royce
models increased. Additionally, this
interesting fact ultimately becomes, historic record sales, for Rolls-Royce
Motor Cars.
Rolls-Royce’s historic record sales of
the year 2019, also builds up, from impressive 2018 sales. Technically, the 2019 sales are considered to
be an increase of 25%. However and
returning to, Rolls-Royce Motors, the aforementioned British luxury automobile
manufacturer was eventually sold to Volkswagen.
The latter, occurred in the year 1998.
Bentley Motors, is considered to be the direct successor, of the
aforementioned acquisition. The latter
is due to the fact that, BMW was supplying the engines. Additionally, Volkswagen lost the right to
use the name, brand or marquee Rolls-Royce.
Officially; January 1st,
2003 is when BMW took control of the Rolls-Royce name, brand or
marquee. A new Rolls-Royce automobile
manufacturer, was subsequently launched as part of BMW; Rolls-Royce Motor
Cars. Additionally, the actual
manufacturing was relocated to Goodwood, England,
UK/Britain. At this time, the originally
sold Rolls-Royce Motors, became, Bentley Motors, Ltd.
Returning to, Rolls-Royce’s historic
record sales, the aforementioned are highlighted by ten facts. The first fact is, the 2019 sales are 5,152
sold automobiles across more than 50 countries.
The latter, is the highest ever in the history of Rolls-Royce. The second fact is, the 2019 sales are a 25%
increase, compared to the 2018 sales.
The 2018 sales are reported as being, 4,107 sold automobiles. The third fact is, all regions of the world
reported significant sales growth. The
fourth fact is, Rolls-Royce’s Cullinan S.U.V. makes major contributions. The fifth fact is, Rolls-Royce’s Black Badge
has a strong consumer demand.
Additionally, it is very popular amongst younger consumers. The sixth fact is; there is a strong consumer
demand for the models Phantom, Wraith, Dawn and Ghost. The seventh fact is, the designation luxury
automobile manufacturer, has returned.
The eighth fact is, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars has re-invested in its
manufacturing plant, in Goodwood. The
ninth fact is, 50 new jobs have been created.
The latter, is a direct result of the historic 2019 sales. Finally the tenth fact is, Rolls-Royce Motor
Cars has added recruits to its Apprenticeship Program.

is the Chief Executive Officer of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars. Through a press statement, Mr. Muller-Otvos
said the following. “This performance is
of an altogether different magnitude to any previous year’s sales success. While we celebrate these remarkable results
we are conscious of our key promise to our customers, to keep our brand rare
and exclusive. We are pleased and proud
to have delivered growth of 25% in 2019.”

“Worldwide demand last year for our Cullinan SUV has driven this success
and is expected to stabilise in 2020. It
is a ringing testament to the quality and integrity of our products, the faith
and passion of our customers and, above all, the skill, dedication and
determination of our exceptional team at the Home of Rolls-Royce at Goodwood
and around the world and our dedicated global dealer network.” As previously stated, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars
