(Osaka,
Japan) Currently, 4G is
capable of supporting up to 100,000 connected devices. The previously said, is for an area that, is
one kilometer squared. In reference to
5G, 4G or 4G LTE still remains in use.
This is due to the fact that, 4G is used to initially establish a
connection. This connection is inside a
cell, and, a cell is how a region is divided.
A region, is how wireless coverage areas are designated. As far as 5G is concerned, 5G is the fifth
generation of the commonly used wireless technology. This wireless technology, is used to be able
to, have digital cellular networks.
Additionally, 5G was first widely deployed in December of the year,
2019. The deployment was through the
installation of antennas, which were added to cells. Whilst inside the cell, which is how a
coverage region is divided, these 5G antennas increase the frequency
spectrum. Recently, the Panasonic
Corporation of North America announced that, it is very
familiar with how 5G works.
Specifically, the aforementioned business revealed that, it has unveiled
the world’s first H.D.R. and U.H.D. virtual reality eyeglasses. The goal is to have a pair of V.R. eyeglasses
that, are compatible with 5G wireless technology. The unveiling occurred at the trade show and
exposition, CES 2020.
The unveiled V.R. eyeglasses from
Panasonic, regrettably, are not being made available for retail sales. The unveiling at CES 2020 was to demonstrate
that, the world’s first H.D.R. and U.H.D. virtual reality eyeglasses, have been
developed. However and returning to, 5G
antennas, the aforementioned are being deployed by every telecommunications
service provider. As previously said,
these 5G antennas increase the frequency spectrum. In turn, the 5G frequency spectrum is divided
into millimeter waves. The latter; is
divided into 5G millimeter waves, mid-band waves and low-band waves. Obviously, the 5G millimeter waves are the
fastest. Additionally, the download
speed is estimated at, 1 to 2 gigabits per second. The mid-band waves are the most commonly
deployed. In fact, more than 20 wireless
networks report using the 5G mid-band waves.
Additionally, the download speed is estimated at, 100 to 400 megabits
per second. Furthermore, the frequency
is estimated at 100 megahertz. Finally
the low-band waves have a similar capacity, to 4G LTE. In other words, the download speed is
estimated to be between 25 megabits per second, and, 100 megabits per
second. Interestingly, it is reported
that T-Mobile and AT&T, are currently using the 5G low-band waves in their
respective services.
Returning to, Panasonic’s unveiled
V.R. eyeglasses, the aforementioned are intended to have a comfortable fit. Additionally, Panasonic’s pair of V.R.
eyeglasses is awaiting full commercial deployment of 5G wireless
technology. The previous, is best
exemplified by a mobile device, or, a smart telephone. The Panasonic Corporation of North
America, expects to jump in, and, fill this space. Technically, the definitions of the acronyms
are as follows. H.D.R. means high
dynamic range. Meanwhile, U.H.D. means
ultra high definition. Overall,
Panasonic’s H.D.R. and U.H.D. virtual reality eyeglasses are highlighted by
three features. The first feature is, a
micro O.L.E.D. panel. This panel was
also developed by the Kopin Corporation.
Additionally, the micro O.L.E.D. panel makes an U.H.D. device that, is
capable of displaying H.D.R. images. The
second feature is, high quality sound.
The latter, is capable of reproducing a wide range of sound
frequencies. Additionally, it is made
possible by a dynamic driver. This
dynamic driver, is capable of achieving ultra low levels of distortion. The third feature is, a compact and
lightweight body. The latter, creates a
device that, doesn’t need a headband.
Additionally, it is also made possible by an optical module that; was
developed by the Kopin Corporation, and, the 3M Company.
To end and as previously stated, the
Panasonic Corporation of North America recently
announced that, it is very familiar with how 5G works. Specifically, the aforementioned business
revealed that, it has unveiled the world’s first H.D.R. and U.H.D. virtual
reality eyeglasses. The goal is to have
a pair of V.R. eyeglasses that, are compatible with 5G wireless
technology. The unveiling occurred at
the trade show and exposition, CES 2020.
The unveiled V.R. eyeglasses from Panasonic, regrettably, are not being
made available for retail sales. Lastly;
the unveiling at CES 2020 was to demonstrate that, the world’s first H.D.R. and
U.H.D. virtual reality eyeglasses, have been developed.
