Entertainment Studios, Inc. Acquires 11 Broadcast Television Stations


(Los Angeles, CA) In September of the year 2013, Heartland Media, LLC made its first business acquisition.  The latter, was of an NBC affiliated broadcast television station; WKTV.  This broadcast television station, is located in Utica, New York U.S.A.  Interestingly, WKTV was acquired from Smith Media.  After this first acquisition, Heartland Media, LLC implemented an acquisition philosophy.  This acquisition philosophy was centered on acquiring Big Four television affiliates that; targeted university towns, and, state capitals.  Through its two subsidiary businesses, Heartland Media, LLC was successful in acquiring and operating, several broadcast television stations.  These two subsidiary businesses are U.S.A. Television Holdings, LLC and U.S.A. Television Midamerica Holdings, LLC.  When speaking about both in a collective manner, the former and the latter are; U.S.A. TV.  Recently, Entertainment Studios, Inc. announced that, Heartland Media, LLC is no longer the owner of U.S.A. TV.  Specifically, the aforementioned business revealed that, it has acquired U.S.A. TV from Heartland Media, LLC.  The acquisition of U.S.A. TV, is made up of 11 high ranking broadcast television stations.  Additionally, these 11 broadcast television stations are in 9 U.S. television markets.
            The 11 high ranking broadcast television stations, which are in 9 U.S. television markets, had the following acquisition cost.  The revealed acquisition cost is, $305 million USD.  However and returning to, Entertainment Studios, Inc., the aforementioned business has indeed been busy.  In fact, the acquisition of U.S.A. TV’s portfolio is just one more, in a series of recent acquisitions.  Additionally, the last six months is best characterized by, $470 million USD spent on acquiring broadcast television stations.  However, the series of acquisitions began in March, of the year 2018.  During this time, Entertainment Studios, Inc. acquired The Weather Channel.  Then in July of the year 2019, Entertainment Studios, Inc. acquired Bayou City Broadcasting.  This acquisition, as it was reported, cost $165 million USD.  Finally in August of the year 2019, Entertainment Studios, Inc. acquired the 21 Regional Fox Sports Networks.  For this acquisition, the aforementioned business partnered with, the Sinclair Broadcast Group.  This acquisition, as it was reported, cost $10.6 billion USD.  Overall and post most recent acquisition, the business divisions of Entertainment Studios, Inc.; Allen Media Broadcasting, and, Allen Media Group are best characterized in this way.  15 broadcast television stations, in more than, 11 U.S. television markets.  This means that, Allen Media Broadcasting and Allen Media Group can now reach, a very wide audience.  An audience that can be found in broadcast television stations, cable television networks and digital media platforms.
            Returning to; the acquisition of U.S.A. TV, the aforementioned and as previously said, is a portfolio of 11 broadcast television stations.  Additionally, the portfolio has the following network affiliations.  The network affiliations are; ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox.  The complete details of the acquisition of U.S.A.             Robert S. Prather, Jr. is the Chief Executive Officer of Heartland Media, LLC.  Through a press statement, Mr. Prather, Jr. said the following.  “I have known Byron Allen for decades and we are delighted that these television stations will now be part of his amazing company.  These stations are dedicated to their local communities and this transaction will enable them to become even stronger on both their broadcast and digital platforms.”
            To end, Entertainment Studios, Inc. did release a press statement.  Byron Allen is the Founder, the Chairman and the Chief Executive Officer of Entertainment Studios, Inc.  Through a press statement, Mr. Allen said the following.  “Over the past six months we’ve invested nearly $500 million to acquire best-in-class, top-tier, broadcast network affiliates.  We plan to invest approximately ten billion dollars to acquire ABC, CBS, NBC, and FOX television stations over the next three years with the goal of being one of the largest broadcast television groups in America.”  As previously stated, Entertainment Studios, Inc. recently announced that, Heartland Media, LLC is no longer the owner of U.S.A. TV.  Specifically, the aforementioned business revealed that, it has acquired U.S.A. TV from Heartland Media, LLC.  The acquisition of U.S.A. TV, is made up of 11 high ranking broadcast television stations.  Additionally, these 11 broadcast television stations are in 9 U.S. television markets.  Lastly, the revealed acquisition cost is, $305 million USD.
