not the same thing as, a chocolate maker.
In fact, a chocolatier is a person, or, a business entity. This person or business entity, makes
confections from chocolate. A confection
is a food item that, is made from sugar and carbohydrates. Meanwhile, a chocolate maker makes chocolate
from cacao beans. Interestingly, the
term cocoa beans, can also be used. The
modern chocolatier becomes a chocolatier, through, one of two ways. The first way is through an
apprenticeship. The second way is through
a culinary school. Whilst attending a
culinary school; an individual person studies to be a pastry chef, or,
confectionary chef. Post completion of
training a master chocolatier makes desserts, along with, pieces of art that
are made from chocolate. Recently, Jan
Moran announced that, she is very familiar with what a chocolatier is. Specifically, the aforementioned author
revealed that, she has released a fiction book.
The fiction book is entitled, The
Chocolatier: A Heartwarming Novel of
Chocolate, Love and Secrets on the Italian Coast. In; The
Chocolatier: A Heartwarming Novel of
Chocolate, Love and Secrets on the Italian Coast, Ms./Mrs. Moran offers the
reader a story about a widowed chocolatier.
The story of a widowed chocolatier,
the way Ms./Mrs. Moran writes it, is also 20th century historical
fiction. Additionally, it is made
possible by the following book publishing company. Officially, the book publishing company is,
Sunny Palms Press. For the German
Language, the book publishing company is, Goldmann Verlag/Random House. However and returning to, a chocolatier, the
aforementioned person works primarily through three techniques. The three techniques are tempering, molding
and sculpting. In reference to,
tempering, the aforementioned involves heating and cooling chocolate. The idea is to produce a desired
characteristic. For example; a desired
characteristic is a specific type of shine, or, a snap when it breaks. In reference to, molding, the aforementioned
is a design technique. Specifically, it
is a design technique that, is meant to create chocolate pieces that are a
specific shape. The latter, is done by
pouring liquid chocolate into a mold, and then, letting it harden. In reference to, sculpting, the
aforementioned is the creation of pieces of art. These pieces of art can be created from
molds, other pieces of chocolate or by decorating the piece of chocolate with
designs. Any type of combination, is
also, possible.
Returning to; Ms./Mrs. Moran’s
fiction book or novel, the aforementioned literary work and as previously said,
is a 20th century historical fiction novel. In; The
Chocolatier: A Heartwarming Novel of
Chocolate, Love and Secrets on the Italian Coast, a widowed chocolatier is the
center of the story. In the year 1953
and in the City of San Francisco, California U.S.A., Celina Savoia’s husband
mysteriously dies. She is left alone,
with their only son. Interestingly,
Celina Savoia is a second generation chocolatier. One day, Celina decides to introduce her son,
to her dead husband’s family. In order
to do this, both travel to the Country of Italy. Specifically, they travel to the Amalfi
Coast. The initial meeting goes well. Additionally, Celina Savoia’s chocolatier
trade craft becomes important. Furthermore,
she starts to believe that, making chocolate whilst living on the Italian coast
is her destiny. A second opportunity at
love, even presents itself. However,
something does change. What has changed
is that, Celina Savoia begins to believe that, her dead husband had a dark
secret. Regrettably, she begins to
explore this new belief.
To end, Jan Moran has written two
other novels. The two other novels are; The Winemakers, and, Scent of Triumph. Both books are published by, St.
Martin’s Press. As
previously stated, Jan Moran recently announced that, she is very familiar with
what a chocolatier is. Specifically, the
