Sony Electronics, Inc. Launches 4K H.D.R. Trimaster Series Monitors


(San Diego, CA) The UK/Britain’s BSC Expo always strives to honor and celebrate, the moving image.  The previous is accomplished, by being the exposition home to film and television, professionals.  Whilst in attendance at the annual exposition, a film and television professional would be delighted by the following.  The display of the finest cinematography equipment, lighting equipment and grip equipment; should delight a film and television professional.  Therefore it shouldn’t be a surprise that, the BSC Expo is considered to be, one of Europe’s premier international events.  As a premier international event, the BSC Expo showcases, the latest film and television products and technology.  The latter, technology, also becomes something that merits highlighting.  Consequently, the City of London becomes the highlighted host city.  Recently, Sony Electronics, Inc. announced that, it was in attendance at the BSC Expo 2020.  Specifically, the aforementioned business revealed that, it has launched two 4K H.D.R. Trimaster Series monitors.  Interestingly, the launch is partly due to a successful unveiling and demonstration, at the BSC Expo 2020.  The two 4K H.D.R. Trimaster Series monitors are; the Sony PVM-X2400, and, the Sony PVM-X1800. 
            The Sony PVM-X2400 and the Sony PVM-X1800, which were unveiled at the BSC Expo 2020, attempt to establish a new standard of professional monitor performance.  Incidentally, the BSC Expo 2020, has already come and gone.  The official exposition dates were January 31st, 2020 to February 1st, 2020.  The event venue was, the Battersea Evolution, in London.  However and returning to, the BSC Expo, the aforementioned always has a full list of exhibitors.  These exhibitors, interestingly enough, are only one part of this annual exposition.  Two other parts are the presentations, and, panel discussions.  The former and the latter, are how two complete days are filled.  Specifically and under the panel discussions part, there is the very popular BSC Panel Discussions.  The previous; always sees participation from national (UK/Britain), and, international manufacturers and/or suppliers.  As a result, the BSC Expo becomes a good place, to unveil to the public a new product or technology.  
            Returning to, Sony’s newest 4K H.D.R. Trimaster Series monitors, the aforementioned are professional film and television equipment.  Technically, the Sony PVM-X2400 is the 24 inch version.  Meanwhile, the Sony PVM-X1800 is the 18.4 inch version.  Both monitors come with a black detail that; is high, medium and low.  The latter, is proprietary technology that, helps to maintain accurate color reproduction.  The color reproduction is done by reducing the brightness, of the backlight.  The previous and in turn, reproduces the correct colors and gradations, in low-luminance areas.  Additionally, both the Sony PVM-X2400 and the Sony PVM-X1800 also come with Sony’s Dynamic Contrast Drive Technology.  The previously mentioned, is meant for professional film and television use.  Specifically, it dynamically changes backlight luminance to adapt to each scene, or, frame.  These changes can also be transferred to existing Sony O.L.E.D. monitors.  Overall, Sony’s newest 4K H.D.R. Trimaster Series monitors are highlighted by the following seven features.  The first feature is, Sony’s Trimaster technology.  The latter; is capable of 100% color gamut coverage, precise grayscale and accurate reproduction of all colors.  The second feature is; 4K resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels, and, H.D.R. compatibility.  The third feature is; the black detail feature is capable of reproducing correct colors, and, gradations in low-luminance areas.  The fourth feature is, a dynamic contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1.  The latter, means that the backlight luminance is capable of adapting, to each frame of the scene.  The fifth feature is, 4K/H.D. scopes with H.D.R. scales that are waveform/vector.  The sixth feature is; quad view display, and, user 3D L.U.T. functionality.  The seventh feature is; 12G, 6G, 3G and H.D.-S.D.I. compatibility with auto configuration.
            To end, Sony Electronics, Inc. (NYSE:  SNE) did reveal the retail availability.  The retail availability of the Sony PVM-X2400, and, the Sony PVM-X1800 is July of the year 2020.  Obviously, the latter is for the United States of America.  As previously stated, Sony Electronics, Inc. recently announced that, it was in attendance at the BSC Expo 2020.  Specifically, the aforementioned business revealed that, it has launched two 4K H.D.R. Trimaster Series monitors.  Interestingly, the launch is partly due to a successful unveiling and demonstration, at the BSC Expo 2020.  The two 4K H.D.R.
