Unified Data Engineering Platform can be used on top of Apache Spark clusters,
or, it can be deployed as a completely managed software technology
solution. This is made possible by, a
more architecting less plumbing, design concept. Officially, the design concept is known as,
Ascend Data Aware Intelligence. The
latter, observes and maintains detailed records of programmer’s code. Specifically; it maintains detailed records
of data movement and processing, changes in the programmer’s code and changes
in the user’s activity. The purpose is
the enablement of data pipelines that, can run at optimal levels of
efficiency. In turn; an integrated

Automated Cataloging, which is now powered by Ascend Govern, provides

across the business’s organizational, and, security boundaries. The idea is to limit data access, all the
while, preserving metadata lineage and integrity. Activity Monitoring & Reporting; is how
users, data and system events are tracked.

dynamic creation, and, destruction of Apache Spark clusters. The idea is responding to processing
